Exactly what I was going for haha. Everything in GG has such a stupid but awesome sounding name.
I think it's been like that for awhile. For the most part everything is being recorded but the game would look less trashy if, say, it awarded you the points visually using what it knew were each player's LP prior to the match. It wouldn't mean anything but since it typically counts those matches anyway and awards or deducts your LP faking it would only make people happier.
But they'd probably fuck that up, too.
DP method doesn't work anymore?

That's weird, I cleared Hard and Hell difficulty with Ryu and Ken using the DP trick in season 1.

They should just remove the "failed to report data" message.
In SF4 stuff didn't update immediately after you finished the match, and no one cared.
No one would care here, either.

1. I actually had a ragequitter at Super Plat rank tonight - a Bison! Rare sight.
2. I found a mod of the game so that the post-match theme is replaced by Roundabout by Yes, with it timed so that the freezeframe happens the same time it does in JJBA. This is the greatest thing ever, especially when you clutch out wins.

I beat a Diamond 15k Vega. Should have gotten 165 LP and be at 8k but then "Failed to Retrieve Data". Lose to him twice, 2nd game "failed to retrieve data" lose to him in 3rd game shows my points at 7830. Never gotten the points from the first game.

Well, it takes me up to 20 minutes to get anything going, because people from all over the world join and maybe 1 out of 6 has a playable connection. That's not just a filter thing by the way. For the first time ever I felt like I was up against someone with a lag switch. I dont know what to expect from one but every time I got on the offensive shit started jumping and breaking up, before I know it he's on the offensive and everythings fine. It felt controlled but maybe it was just bad luck.

That makes sense. I've been quite lucky so far, and I've rarely had to wait more than a couple of minutes for somebody with a good connection, so my impression is of course more positive. Definitely agree that the flags and connection displays need fixing, though, that is just ridiculous.

Neutral jump and back jump j.hk does hit forward. J.hp is a good replacement for st.hk if it's not gonna cross up.

J.hk just has a much better angle though. I like using it when I have someone in the corner.

The servers are lagging like launch day but it's impossible that anyone is playing this game. They must have sold off two of their three servers to cover costs for the next round of titty costumes.

On another weird note, the loading screen completed before the song was up for an online match. I've never, ever seen or heard of that happening. Like before the final part of the song came up, we were in the match. Dude was in the UK, and there was maybe one small bit of lag in the second match.
This leads me to believe that Capcom CAN fucking optimize this shit.

Edit: Damnit, auto capture didn't go that far back.

My matches aren't particularly laggy but load times are being extended by server bullshit.
Like everyone? I run in to tons of issues too but how often do you see me complaining? When there's a real problem I go through the proper channels to file an issue but I know that no one on earth cares that I didn't get 50 LP, much like I don't care.
A laggy fight where you prance around the stage not knowing how your combos and random punches will connect

Honest question, what's the best way to tell the difference between someone's garbage ass internet ruining the match and the servers being garbage?
The long loading times/wait times? Playing someone in the same country or nearby and it fucking up?
Maybe the bars being 5 and it still being garbage. I honestly don't know.

This is what I've been experiencing too. 2+ minute wait time for the main menu to load in after an online match and I've been DC'd from the server three times while waiting for a game (though thankfully never while one's in progress), plus random error messages galore.
the servers ain't doing anything about the matches, that's all about your connection to the opponent
except in the weird case where the server decides to act as gateway between you to (denoted by the connection with a box _in_the_middle) where it was going to be a shit connection anyway

Thankfully my life ain't that bad. No disconnects, but some long loads back to menu.
If load times are weirdly long even when another person isn't involved I complain because I think it's servers. Otherwise, I just accept that life is chaos and darkness and some matches are going to be bad connections and keep my mouth shut.
