I'm not really into to tiers but if a really good player picks a mid level character then all of a sudden that character isn't so bad anymore. Rashid was considered the worst character for most of season 1. Until all of a sudden he's actually pretty good when a guy shows up at a tournament and wrecks a bunch of people. It's too fluid to put much stock into it.
Edit- on the flip side. People will argue that Laura/Balrog aren't top tier because they havent won all the tourneys. This was the Chun argument in season 1.

Mike on Excellent Adventures has been frustrating to watch. The last few episodes, he keeps complaining that Kolin's vtrigger "only combos sometimes" with d.mk, not realizing the first and second vtrigger ice wave have different combo properties (because only the first one "freezes" the screen, pun not intended).
What's even more frustrating is Gootecks is right next to him with this "durrr" face even though Urien (his main) has the exact same issue with his v-trigger. Connect the dots, man!
I had similar frustrations a few episodes back when Mike was using Zangief, complaining about how hard it was to stay in, while simultaneously not using EX SPD at all.

I mean...Akuma is not so strong in this game that he can justify having the same crap health/stun he's always had, while also losing a bunch of his tools from previous games or having them locked behind V-Trigger. He can get some of the tools back by popping V-Trigger, yeah, but a) usually by the time he gets a full V-Gauge he's almost completely dead, and b) his V-Trigger runs out stupidly fast. Making it a two bar, or making it a three bar that runs infinitely, at least gives him a chance to get his damage before he gets killed.
And no, I don't think getting an extra 25 health in the new patch is going to be enough to alleviate the issues with his balance. Maybe if they gave him an extra 50-75 instead.
Excellent Adventures has been low key trash since V. I don't know if it's the way the game is set up online compared to 4, but I can barely sit through episodes now.

R. Mika: 97cm (38"), 72cm (28"), 93cm (37")
Rose: 96cm (38"), 57cm (22"), 86cm (34")
Ibuki: 95cm (37"), 57cm (22"), 90cm (35")
Chun-li: 88cm (34"), 58cm (22"), 90cm (35")
Cammy: 86cm (34"), 57cm (22"), 88cm (35")
Obviously they've been "buffing" Chunners lately, but Ibuki is on the higher end. Laura and Kolin weren't listed on the wiki.

I think w/ Rashid, it's more like, people thought he sucked, but the game and character evolved and hey, he's actually really good. I think it's more that people are quick to declare something the gospel truth when tiers should be changing.
Tourney results shouldn't be the end-all, else we'd think FANG was decent just because of Xian, but results do matter.

Your dedication to FANG is admirable, and even though I don't care for him, he definitely does get screwed in the DLC department, along with a lot of others.
Alex is not your enemy though. He's just got the hustle (and the body) that can make enough (gay) bank to infiltrate Capcom's all boobs agenda. The men of SFV need to stand together or get crushed by The Cheesecake Factory.

Exactly. The only good costume is his default and granted he has multiple awesome colours for them but it's just not the same.

The imbalance in costume distribution is really lame. Like I know Capcom wants to maximize profits, but Chun-Li getting two brand new outfits in addition to her numerous other options is dumb. And the lopsided focus on the female characters is transparent as heck, and smacks of an outdated way of thinking. I have no problems with the sex appeal, but they need to spread it out to all the characters, male and female, even the "weird" ones. (And the ladies need some non-fetish gear too.)
This is all stuff I've said before, but it bears repeating.
Stupendous casual stream for NCR was pretty cool. He just walked around and talked to random players/watched casual matches for a couple of hours.
