Guys, they did the thing. They did the thing I was hoping they'd do.

Despite wearing the same costume, she looks super good now.

That Story Mode Costume tho. hnnngnggg

Seriously, that might be the best Story Mode costume in the whole game.

Double jump looks cool. It'd be nice if it was like sadira's but since this is capcom you can probably only jump forward. Looks floaty enough to anti-air without much difficulty. Also looks slow on the jump's second startup.

Also I just realized Kolin gets a nostalgia costume but Ibuki and Alex don't LUL

They will eventually, though.

I wonder if the new new characters will get fake Nostalgia costumes like KI did with their new characters.

Did they ever show her double jump in different directions, like a fake-out forward jump into a back jump? Used to do that stuff all the time with Oro in 3rd Strike. The gif only shows a forward to forward double jump.

lol people are mad on Twitter about a patch coming and I know these are the same dudes asking for one prior to the damn announcement.

People are really just looking for excuses to hate SFV now.

Like, yeah it does have problems still. But now people are just contradicting themselves just to jump on the bandwagon.

Capcom, you clever bastards...

Notice which side Kolin is on (in relation to Gill) before she leaves.

they only showed it once forward.

so probably only forward.

Ever since we got patching and social media, this shit has gone up to eleven. Even pro players are getting heated.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but the plan is sounding like CFN changes + balance changes in March and then the 3rd S2 character in April right?

the way I understood it they'd have news about rebalance in early march, but didn't say anything about when they'd actually deliver

IMHO the easiest thing would be do a big update in april with the character and the rebalance. they only promised to talk about it in march

I guess, but they also said that in the in-between months, they would talk about other things besides the new characters, so I'm just guessing they might do it that way.

It'll probably come alongside character 3's release. (which could be March)

I'm re-reading the Unity post, and unless the writer made a mistake, it sounds like we'll hear about the next character before the end of the month.
expect to hear more from us about each of the remaining four characters every other month beginning in February.

uh

Just to throw more fuel onto the Iori possibility: Part 1 (T16) of KOF XIV's world championships are on the 18th in Tokyo: http://shoryuken.com/2017/02/06/the-king-of-fighters-xiv-world-championship-grand-final-comes-to-tokyo-on-february-18th/ Part 2's (T4) happening in March over in China.

I like to live in a world where Iori in SF isn't a completely batshit theory

The silhouette is way too bulky/muscular, Iori doesn’t wear gloves, and Iori doesn’t wear his pants tucked into tall boots. I’m almost positive it’s an original character like Rashid and Laura.

Yeah I definitely agree that this guy looks to be completely new.

Is all of that from silhouettes we know or is part of it made up? I don't remember a boxing glove like that.

I laid all of the available silhouettes on top of each other and cut the combined shape out. Only the further half of his left arm is guesswork, but he's definitely wearing gloves of some kind. They're not necessarily boxing gloves, though, since Ryu's gloves in this game are bulky and stylized.
