Well, the Unity blog that announced the costumes didn't say anything about the costumes going away, and the PS Store doesn't have a date either, so yeah, at the moment, it's here to stay until they officially announce otherwise. Limited time costumes are a stupid idea anyway.

Agreed, it also grinds my gears in Overwatch when they limit when you can obtain certain costumes. I'm cool with them not being in the loot boxes, but at least let us use our credits to buy Santabjörn & Elf Tracer. You can just add more holiday costumes each year (which makes sense for SFV since not everyone got Halloween or Christmas costumes last year).
Anyway, I agree with MrCarter in that this year's Halloween batch is probably one of the best batches of costumes in a while (& that's not even counting the other costumes that came out). I kinda get some Master Mummy vibes (albeit skinner) from Dhalsim's Halloween costume, especially with how his arms stretch.
Smart man. Though in my case, all I want is the Gill costume. That being said, what we're talking about is the fact that there was no limited time period listed for the 2017 Halloween costumes.
The November date only applies to the 2016 costumes.
I can't believe you guys made me ask Capcom on Twitter now as a result of this. I want the costumes too but I don't want to rush into buying them right now. I already bought four costumes, English Manor (didn't want to wait for the 70k grind unlike other stages) and CPS1 music pack.

It's strange hitting someone a few times and killing them before I even realize it. A huge contrast to FANG, but I love how heavy and deliberate he feels. I think it's actually making my defense better, since he is so damn slow and chunky. FANG is my dude though, so no way am I dropping him as he is the best in the game. I still remember not being sure who I'd play with before the game released, and being 100% certain when that trailer dropped.
Number two is always number one! Keeping my eye on Zeku though...

Oof, I need to stop playing Ranked at the middle of the day. The game keeps matching me with players from Britain & Western Europe with supposedly 4-5 bar connections but once I'm in game, I watch half my hits get rolled back. It doesn't seem to affect my opponents though. I lost about 800LP completing that mission. I clawed back the LP once late afternoon rolled around and I started getting matches from the US & Canada.

Whats even the point of taking them down again? Isnt Capcom supposed to love money? Its safe to assume that a lot of players will still keep buying the costumes even after Halloween is over. Not everyone just uses them for Halloween.

I'm guessing you know this already but they're doing it for the same reason all businesses offer products "for a limited time only!" People will buy products they're waffling on if they think they won't be available later on.
Yeah Im aware I just dont agree with it is all (for any game that does it, really). Same with preorder exclusive costumes, same with region exclusive colors, etc. I actually think it ruins the experience for lots of people knowing they have to miss out on in-game content over some silly ass business reasons.
If a Collectors Edition is available from day one, it should include everything that was exclusive to retailers and other regions, for example. Just seems wrong to me otherwise and every new generation gets worse at handling things like this.

Capcom will be talking about new content for their fighting games at NY Comic Con. So there's a chance it happens this coming week. The reveal at least.
The exact wording is "Capcom drops by the Twitch stage to show off the latest content from two of their popular fighting games." So they could easily disappoint by showing a bunch of stuff that has recently released. I don't know why anyone would go to a panel like that, though.
edit: I've unconvinced myself. This sounds like a totally perfunctory panel. Are there any major tournaments this month?
