Wattage isn't written directly on the adapter but the amazon listing say 65w-90w

Should this be OK?

As long as the voltage is the same and the power supply can provide a minimum of the current requirements, you should be fine.
 
Hi Gaf,

I utilize an app to catalog which games i have purchased. If the game was obtained from PS+, I do not add it. I am having an issue determining which games I obtained via PS+ and which ones were purchased or free. The free ones are the most aggravating as I do not recall if it was truly free or via PS+. Any help is appreciated.

I think the only way to be sure is to download the game and press triangle and view the licence. If the licence ends the same date as your current PS+ subscription ends then its a PS+ game. Alternatively I think there is a list somewhere of PS+ titles from the past, if you match up the month they were free to the month they were purchased, you can have a good guess.

Why does my google play change over to japan region (yes, i went to japan late last year and it changed then too, but since then it went back to normal when i came back to australia).

Its now showing up japanese apps again so how do i revert back?
 
Looking for a book, cant remember the name

The concept was that it was a encyclopedia/nature guide/history book format, describing a far future world with odd and creepy body horror-esque evolutions of mankind and other species. Has illustrations and everything

Can I please get assistance with the above. Its been getting really annoying.

Youtube had defaulted to Japan youtube, google play locked in japan region, everything... ARGGH!


Edit: I tried going on youtube on my vita and its showing japan stuff still, so Im guessing its my ISP/Modem doing this?

Love Japan, been fascinated by the culture since I was a child. Always wanted to visit (maybe even live and work there) but there's one problem according to some forums I visited- I'm black.

Is racism in Japan that bad? That I'd actually have a hard time visiting, shopping, eating at restaurants and interacting with people because I'm black?

Any personal experiences?
 
i dont know if this may be a hint to help me in regards to my above question but... I downloaded an app in google play (an AUS app)... exited google play, went into the app, went back out and back into google play and it made me confirm my email again. I clicked ok and my settings went back to normal..

I removed the app, changed my google location setting to 'off', went back into google play and its showing the same japan region content again!

FUCKING HELL
 
I'm trying to configure a new Netgear wireless router. I'm connecting to the internet successfully, but I want to access the router settings. However, routerlogin.net isn't loading for me (that's where the device instructions tell me to go).

Google is saying it's probably because I'm connecting wirelessly when I need an ethernet connection to access the router settings.

However, right now I'm only using a Macbook Air, which doesn't have an ethernet port. Do I need to go buy a USB to Ethernet adapter, or is there some other troubleshooting I can do?
 
I'm trying to update drivers. I have an Intel i5/Intel HD 5500, Windows 8.1 64-bit. But when I try to update my drivers with the 2015 drivers, I get the message that my computer doesn't meet minimum requirements, when it certainly does

Any advice here?

I finally have a use for this thread!

Why the hell do I always have my best poos between 9am-10am on weekdays not long after arriving at work? On weekends I do not experience this routine. And on vacation my poos were rare and random.

I hope this intrigues more than it disgusts.

It has to do with circadian rhythms. When you're asleep the urge to poo is naturally suppressed and when you wake up, your bowels are put into overdrive for the first few hours of the day.

As for the divergence of your routine on weekends and on vacation it's probably due to either staying up later or sleeping in later than your body is used to.
 
How do older games run on modern pc/laptops? I don't game at all on computers, but I want to play the original typing of the dead. I just don't want to buy it and realize it won't run. My laptop has windows 8.
 
I have 2 Win7 PC's and am mentally prepping for the Win10 upgrade. I want to do a full system image and I understand that I'll have to upgrade first, then run a full install after. I current use Window's built in backup utility on an external drive. It's just family photos and videos for the most part. After I upgrade and reimage to Windows10, will I be able to use my current Win7 backup file for this stuff? Or will Windows10 recognize the backup as "being from a different PC" considering the OS difference?

I'll probably get another external and do a manual backup anyway considering how important family photos and videos are, but just checking

I need some new (and old) music, but need some good lists, and hoping these OT could provide it.

You know, 80s, 90s, 00's 10's etc....

Was thinking of renting a digital textbook this semester rather than the physical book. Any thoughts on digital textbooks? Is anyone familiar with "BryteWave" format for digital textbooks?
 
My dad is looking to hook up his old house speakers but wants his iPhone to send the music to them. Is there a simple amp that would take a bluetooth receiver and jack up the power to power them? I googled but it just got me car amps and I am not looking into those for this really. Was considering a raspberry pi for it but I think just a bluetooth adapter to the speakers would work well. Not sure the ohms or anything yet on the speakers but they are about 3 foot tall from the 70's.
 
Can anyone advise me on good places / ways to learn HTML and CSS? Online and free preferably obviously but if there's a better way that isn't much I don't mind. Mostly for something to have on my CV and to have knowledge about.
 
I'll try here first before starting a new thread.

So, I have a problem with my PC and Youtube. Whenever I stary playing a Youtube vid in HD, my TV kind of acts as if I had changed channels. It goes dark for a second or two and then the image returns. The same happens some time after I have watched the Youtube vid and closed the Youtube tab with the video (not immediately). Apart from being a bit annoying, this wouldn't be a problem, except

1) I can't have two Youtube vids playing at the same time. If I do, my TV just goes black and nothing helps except the video ending or if I can somehow shut down the browser/tab where the video is playing (this is, of course, kinda hard when I can't see anything). This is not a particularly huge problem since of course you rarely have two youtube vids playing at the same time, but sometimes I might have one vid playing and I open a second one and before I manage to pause it my screen goes black

2) sometimes the screen goes black and doesn't return when I put a single HD Youtube video to full screen mode. And this only happens with Youtube. Not any other HD-feeds


Any idea what could be causing this problem and is there a way to fix this? I have some kind of Sony Bravia TV, if that helps with solving this issue. And I think this only happens with Firefox. Just tested and yes, this doesn't happen on Chrome.
 
If you buy a Japanese ps4, is there an option to switch the circle and x to be like american systems? (x for confirm and circle for cancel)

just bought a cheap Grono lamp from Ikea, anyone know what kinda bulbs i need for this thing? i'm told you can buy them there but it's not easy for me to get back over that way, was hoping to look closer by if i knew the type i'm after. appreciate any help offered here.
