Is Star Wars in 3D good or is the 3D more of a distraction? I want to go see it tomorrow but 3D is the only showing available at the time I want to go and I'm kinda iffy on the thought of it. I'm wondering if I should just wait to see it normally.

I thought you needed to be a member for 3 months and have posted 300 times to become a member but that doesn't seem to be the case for me. And I thought it happened automatically but maybe it takes a few days once you hit that mark? I'm not sure.

Ordered something online on Thurs 12/31, with FedEx Standard Overnight. Tracking indicates that it'll get here on Monday 1/4... am I wrong in thinking it should get here on Saturday?
If the store was closed Thursday and Friday (New Years Eve and Day), then the processing wouldn't have started until Saturday, and Monday would have been considered the 1 day of shipping. So that's probably what happened.

I'm working on a huge Excel file and I will need to manually input a lot of the data in another thing later. Right now I'm realizing it's going to be a huge pain in the ass to do this as I'll have to add a comma at the end of each cell to properly process this data. is there any way I can add do some Excel magic that will add a comma at the end of each cell without having to do this manually?

Potentially an extremely stupid question: Can completely colorblind people tell that old shows/movies are in black and white or do they look pretty much exactly the same as everything else?
Maybe there is some type of complete colorblindness I'm not aware of but the large majority of people with colorblindness mostly have trouble differentiating between two specific colors like red and green. Examples of this are present in typical color blind tests such as this one:

How wary should I be about buying a cheap USB wall wart adapter? It would be convenient to have some extra USB charging options so I was thinking of getting few of this wall wart, mostly because it's cheap. I don't really know the specifications behind USB as a standard but I thought the benefit was how universal it was in that it will draw as much power as needed, so you don't need to worry about frying your say, phone or controller just plugging it into the average port. Basically I'm wondering if there is really a good reason to pay for triple the cost when it comes to wallwarts or is it like the pricing on short HDMI cables where it makes no real difference?

Strange that tv and movies misrepresent it so extremely then, this is far from what I perceived it as.
Colorblind here (more specifically, a deuteranope)!
We have trouble distinguishing certain shades of colors. For example, I have to focus hard to tell apart:
- green from red
- yellow from green
- burgundy from brown
- dark blue from dark purple
- light pink from gray
When I see these colors (let's say I drew an apple tree) it looks like a mixed color, which clears up after some time focusing on them. It's not literally colorblind.
If you wanna know more about how I perceive my world, just say it and I'll give you some examples.

Last night I went over to my best friend's place, his girlfriend was there too. Well we smoked weed, watched the martian and stayed up until forever.
At 6 am a mutual female friend showed up and after breakfast we somehow were all 4 lying on the couch and no one on the bed.
Then my best friend was being annoying and the two girls kept saying he should stfu or go the bed now, so he went.
Then his gf got up because he took her blanket with him, she got the blanket from him and then she just got back to me and the other girl, then she proceeded to totally spoon me.
They are in a totally open relationship, but I would never hit on a girlfriend of a friend no matter what kind of relationship they have.
I did think about moving away from her when she spooned me, but I didn't because I'm quite certain he doesn't care. We fell asleep cuddling, there was no groping whatsoever, it was probably a rather normal thing to do for her.
They fuck other people on their own, together, there doesn't seem to be any jealousy whatsoever.
Should I have gotten up and go home instead? i considered it, but I was lying in bed with 2 girls (i was in the middle), am I an asshole?
I'm still lying there as of now, all 3 other people in the room are sleeping.

Were you looking at the other cars moving ahead of you? It's a pretty common feeling when you're brain is trying reconcile what your eyes see as movement but your body feels as staying still.

Can a gun (of any kind) work if wet or submerged in water?
I was playing the Last of Us, Joel swims with all his gear on his backpack including shotguns and rifles. Also there's a cutscene where he is being held underwater and grasps for a pistol which is also under the water. After it's pulled out it's used to save him immediately

Mythbusters actually did this. All the guns (a 9mm, a .357, a 12-gauge shotgun, and a .30-06) fired, but underwater they weren't lethal beyond a meter and were only able to get one shot off as the bullet casings sometimes failed to eject.
Just getting wet shouldn't bother them at all. It's only firing them underwater that becomes a problem
