i must be stupid, but im taking another chance on suicide squad for the $5 on steam. at least my save from when i had a ps5 copy is carrying over. i thought there were some good aspects that were okay about it, but there was so much going against it too. seeing if there's any improvements

Just wait and see how dumb you all gonna look when WB suddenly decide to close their servers (because you know, it's a SP game but it's aways online) and you lot no longer gonna have acess to it, despite their so called "promise".
Its a story based game. They still haven’t finished the story. Once they done, there is no reason to keep it always online.

Its campaign can be played like traditional SP games.

There wasn't a reason to keep aways online if you're playing solo.
What story? Killing multiple repetitives Brainiacs, while watching poorly drawed cutscenes from "other universe" characters? This is not actual story, just additional stuff and you don't even win them, you have to grind the shit out of it or pay.

You do realise Justice League won’t be dead forever?

They will resurrect them in final season with some twist.

After that, they will likely patch for offline play. No point in keeping it live service.

They already said there would be an offline patch. That dude just wants to nerd rage

Ugh, like a lot of people, I thought the Mrs. Freeze character was so cringe, and I hate the design...but dammit...her traversal movement is pretty fun to use.

I got it for a tenner and put in about 40 hours (100-percented-it) so definitely worth it at that price.

Especially considering the fact that the servers will most likely be shut down soon and it will simply be a useless disk.

I mean a [insert food item] is more expensive these days. So a rental for even less than a fiver is 'rude not to' territory lol.

But game will get an offline patch its already confirmed by the devs no?
If I remember correctly, there will only be an offline story mode, which takes 10-12 hours to complete (And that's because there's monotonous farming of the same missions). This game, even from a gameplay point of view, has never been designed for offline, so it's unlikely to help it.
They wrote on the website in FAQ section:
"An internet connection is currently required to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League solo or via online co-op. However, an offline story mode will be added this year giving players the option to experience the main campaign without an internet connection. More details will be provided at a later date."
They didn’t give any information about when this would be, and it’s already December and there’s no patch.

5€?
That's way to little for this disaster!
I wouldn't put this thing to my steam account for less than 20€.

Not at all, you child. You have to stick with their promise, unless you have evidence they gonna stick with it. For all we know they could simply let the game expire with lack of updates and suddenly put the plug without a warning or patch. The only thing that could change their approach is a lawsuit. If you have any proof they gonna really do this other than their word, then be my guest kid.

On it's 5th sale on the XBL it dropped to 95%
Meanwhile on PSN it's still 80% off on it's 9nth sale
What does it says about us ?
Are we some kind of Suicide Squad killers ?
(love that 50c VAT btw)

Already put 5 hours into it according to Steam. Pretty decent game for that price.

The Transflag in the Hall of Justice made me laugh

The part were Batman showed up felt like a horror game.

"My crap game is 95% off, look at all the engagement! Winning!" I'm dying 🤣

If it's a AAA game with a budget of over $250,000,000, and it costs $5, and all you can afford in this situation is 2,500 players, sorry, but the situation is even worse than at the start, because the game at the start at least made a peak of 14,000, and here the game is practically given away for free and the game gets a peak of 2,500...

I bought it and I don't know why...
Well, there could be many reasons

1) you have nothing to do
2) mental and psychological disorder
3) you don't know how to spend money wisely
4) you urgently need to support a multi-billion dollar company with your $5
5) Just for the sake of this post and screenshot

With all due respect, if you really want to look at Harley Quinn's beautiful and elastic ass, you don't need to buy this game, much less pay $5. There are plenty of places on the Internet where there are much more interesting materials and for free. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I bought the game for dirty cheap a few months ago and I've only played a few hours of single player campaign, why is people saying that it is an allways online game? Does at some point force you to play online or what?

I've been playing this a lot for the past week...I don't know exactly what changed, but I'm really enjoying myself now. The shooting just feels fun once you get used to it, and all the traversal methods for all the characters are fun to use in their own ways. I just finally beat the story mode this morning, and I think I'm keep playing the end game. I ended up getting the deluxe version on PC and xbox, and since the accounts are linked, I got extra battle pass tokens to use, so I'm basically getting those for free.

Also...I don't play many live service games, but do any other ones let you switch between the battle passes freely? I noticed you could do that in this, and that seems pretty generous.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Looks like the console version has gotten this sale too, more so on Xbox than PS for some reason.

Xbox $4.99
PSN $19.99

I enjoyed the campaign. Stopped playing after that. Will try Deathstroke though.

Does the digital deluxe edition include all the new season story stuff too?

Never picked it up before but $4.99 seems like an unbeatable price. Picked up the SX version of Avengers when that hit $3.99 as well, this seems like history repeating.
