Oh god, why in the hell every game has to have some kind of multiplayer element nowadays. On top of that, this will fill the squad with BOTS. I don't know, might really suck and seems like WB trying to pull 2 same games at the same times. Very interesting and confusing decision.

I was sadly expecting this, that even rocksteady wouldn't dare to make a real version of suicide squad, and would instead use the new vision popularized by the movie.
It seems like the movies just really changed these characters for good.
I used to really like Harley Quinn, since the animated series up to the Arkham games, she was really great in these.
The suicide squad movie totally changed the character and she is now terrible, and it's weird to say this, but she's just a character that I dislike now, even if I used to really like her in the past.
I was totally expecting for this game to be based on this new version of the suicide squad, and I don't like it, the musics, the characters, it's just... ugh.
I think the only way we could have had a good suicide squad game would be if the game released before the movie existed and made these new version of the characters popular.
I'll just stick to Assault on Arkham as the only suicide squad existing in the arkham universe.

There is no way to say if Suicide Squad will be a good game or not. They only showed a cinematic trailer and they are at least two years away from release.

Such a vast change in artsyle while retaining the same "arkhamverse" seems like it would be jarring. Just seems derivative is all not hating on Sunset but its 6 years ago and will be almost 10 years ago when this game hits

I would much rather have a Superman game or a JL game but I thought that trailer seemed fun. Yeah it wasn't gameplay, hopefully the gameplay ends up being something near that though.

Unless this is one RDR2-sized game, they definitely had a game cancelled, tho. The fact that it's set in Metropolis makes me wonder if the rumored Superman game did exist and fall through, and they're reusing the assets here.

It doesn't have to be, it's basically like the Ultimate Alliance games, you can switch between any one of the 4 characters at any time or have your friends take the other 3 characters online.

They’re very talented (Rocksteady) and you’re right, new consoles only is nice, that trailer did nothing for me though.

Not really sure how this game will look/play yet. But i'm getting Avengers/Destiny vibes as expected based on rumors. I hope it turns out well, but this looks like another case where i want them to get this out the door and get back to focusing on single player game like their original Batman Arkham games. Hopefully a full fledged new Superman. So i guess another 5yr wait.

5 years and no gameplay. i think devs have gotten so incompetent that it feels like they have regressed. they made arkham city in 2 years. 2 years. cant even get a gameplay trailer after 5+ years. just quit making games because you have failed to do your job. you suck.
