Why not? This is a Character that hung out with the Penguin on Scooby Doo. Joker is the Clown Prince of Crime not the Clown Prince of Murder a lot of people. He should be in it for the Money, all Villians should be. You Know Two-Face is going to rob the Second bank of Gotham on Febuary 2 at 2PM. Anything else is just losing the plot IMO. That's why you can have Toyman and Prankster as Superman Villians, They're not there to Fight Superman, they're after the Money all the Gear they use is to hopefully Slow Supes down so they can get away. That's what all the hardware these guys use is for to Slow or stop the hero so they can get away, not to kill people. It's why the Flash Rogues just get sent to Prison and not put on Death Row and Killed.

I think you have a very narrow understanding of what an adaptation is. This version of Joker is an absolute monster, and it's not like Leto to break character.

Wow, I'm super impressed with how many views this trailer. It's catching up to the BvS trailer pretty fast. Here's hoping this'll convince them to not make these trailers exclusive for attendees only in the future. It's great publicity, and now more people are excited for this movie than ever.

). He's been keeping busy. This cast shoot was from comic con, which he didn't attend. Jared has been learning rock climbing and shit shooting a documentary "Great Wide Open" (I think that's the name he keeps hash tagging it). I think he'll be all over the promo schedule around launch.

He was also filming on set in Toronto the day before Comic-Con

Tour's finished besides a few additional concerts/events in August and September.
He did say a few months back that they are working on a new album so I assume he's probably gone back to doing that.
What I found more interesting is he never fully commented on if 30STM were doing the soundtrack for SS, no doubt it will probably include one of their new songs though.

This movie has a lot going for it. It's got Joker and Harley, some Batman on the side. Then you've got Will Smith and Jared Leto who both gather a lot of interest on their own, in a comic book universe with characters like these. Plus I think it's an even better trailer than the BvS one. Mostly for the music which is mesmerizing.
That's a good choice. I remember her in Drive and she was basically Harley Quinn begging for Kadeem Hardison's dick.

Anybody expecting this movie to be super dark and gritty as opposed to an action movie full of dark humor (because supervillains are dicks) is in for a rude awakening. It'll basically be a dark comedy with a couple serious moments and a lot of action. That's my prediction right meow.
It's funny, because the episode of Arrow in which Deadshot says that is also called Suicide Squad (I'm pretty sure).
I think something we all need to realize is that the name of the Suicide Squad is technically Task Force X. The crew refers to it as a Suicide Squad, so at some point they were going to refer to it as such within the film.
They're only overdoing it with SS. In her own book, she's more cute and flirty then sexy. It's just more to her personality.

a. not surprising
b. not to be taken seriously
I mean this is a guy who wrote The themes of legacy and consequence truly inform the arcs of Black Widow and the Hulk in AoU or some such nonsense.
