Sorry guys, no swimsuit Gou in this episode. She does do a lot of
though, lol. And I'm seeing hints that we might see
At any rate, this episode was mostly devoted to getting the club set up. When the teacher said they needed to find a fourth member (when has a club anime not involved this plotline?) I thought that was a sign we'd be seeing the mystery blue-haired guy, but no such luck - apparently
was enough to satisfy that requirement. Looks like blue-hair is going to show up next episode, after the club is already formed.
Oh, and one other shocking thing happened in this episode:

the teacher in a swimsuit at some point. Apparently she was in "a line of work relating to swimsuits" in the past (modelling...?), and has since sworn never to wear a swimsuit again. If that isn't a sign that she's going to wear one, I don't know what is.

SURPRISE! Akudaikaan was just a pawn of Gohyarn! The only reason he was obsessed with destroying everything was because Gohyarn made him that way so he could step in and take over the world after it had been destroyed! And when Akudaikaan gets a little overenthusiastic about the destroying, Gohyarn's all like "kay don't need you anymore *extinguish life*." Dark Fall itself has basically fallen apart, so we're back to the human world for the real final battle, as usual. With their "father" Akudaikaan out of the picture, there's no need for Michiru and Kaoru to even think about hesitating any more. Gohyarn has revealed his TRUE FORM, so now we just have to kick him into the dirt where he belongs. ...What do you mean he's probably stupidly strong and it won't be that easy.

The Skull Man 01
A fairly quiet first episode, mostly setting up the stage for what is to follow. The Skull man seems way overpowered. Though there were several things that seemed to be amiss, hopefully they address them on the later episodes.
Some neat cigarette animation in this and the direction feels fairly solid too. The OP is smashing, probably one of the most enjoyable I've seen in recent memory.
I'll try to finish this by tomorrow.

This duchess really gives absolutely zero fucks, doesn't she? I like to think that her mentality is "Yeah, this show is stupid as hell and I don't know what the fuck I'm doing in it." Were those enemies just chilling in her room as she smoked her giant pipe? She didn't call for help or anything?
"But if you look at it from our angle, it is your People's Army that is evil." So is George Lucas stealing terrible lines from Glass Fleet, or is Glass Fleet stealing terrible lines from George Lucas?
"Not my precious wine! My babies...they're all gone!" Okay, so she does give some fucks. But only for her booze! I can respect that.
Something about the way Cleo says "You'd look beautiful in that dress, Michel" just seems...wrong. I don't know why. But bringing it up out of nowhere while they were talking about Vetti (and potentially teaming up with him, even though the duchess essentially just vowed revenge against him) probably had something to do with it.
Haha at the ending. How many roses did Rachel pick apart? It seems like she's going mad now. Might as well; it'd be one last kick in the balls to that trainwreck of a character.
