Futari wa Precure Splash Star The Movie: Tick-Tock Kiki Ippatsu!
So that happened.
Eh, it was pretty fun I guess. They did the whole "Cures have a fight at the beginning and make up over the course of the movie" thing again, except the second Max Heart movie did it much better, whereas it falls a little flat here. The two obligatory movie-exclusive mascots were kind of uninteresting too (Named Hours and Minutes, and themed after...yes, the hands on a clock.)
The villain was decent enough - creepy big-hat guy whose goal is to freeze time for all eternity so that the world will have no future and he can do with it as he pleases. And it was quite a cool moment when time actually stopped for the first time in the real world. Oh, and there were a couple of fight sequences with some pretty nice animation. But that's about it.
Now bring on Yes! Precure 5! (Well, not right now. I'll see about starting that tomorrow maybe.)
