I don't think I'll touch any of the Eureka 7 "related" shows/"sequels" now....
I've still got such a long way to go in my backwards Precure watch. Approaching the halfway point of Suite now, and after that, I have legitimately no clue what to expect, as I haven't done any research before hand like I did with Suite and Smile to figure out which to watch after Heartcatch.

Crunchyroll is like the best site ever for what just happened. It was my birthday yesterday so I was away from my computer, or either watching the steam sales. I come back on my computer to watch the new anime that free users could watch on CR, and I'm surprised with a 30 day free trial from CR.

Fu-nyon sends a letter to Riho who responds with a train ticket with no destination? After deciding that she'd like to go to high school in Takehara, where her father was brought up, the whole family decides to move there. After saying her goodbyes to Chihiro(she's such a good kid), with her presents(?), Fu travels to Takehara where she meets with Kaoru.
And now I remember who Kaoru reminds me, it's Erika from Ginga e Kickoff!!

Yeah. The last few minutes disappointed me. The part when they were in the mecha was really sweet to see though although very sad. T_T
It's pretty entertaining. Not the best drama ever but if you dig stories about robbers and all that stuff it's fun.

Considering how much of a big deal I make out of Heart bias, it's a different story. There's generally some bias towards the main character, sometimes it screws things over for the worse (Max Heart and Suite comes to mind), but here it goes too far with the bias, and makes everyone else look worthless. Alice being the most worthless.
She's so boring that the next episode is about Sebastian. That says volumes on how much they screwed up with Alice.
Just started watching Gen'ei wo Kakeru Taiyou , Man fell in love at first sight, usefull/bad ass lolis are best lolis, everytime they explained the backstory I was buying it in instantly.

Sure, if you want to count "misreadings" as "synonyms" ~.~
("Senhime" is an ugly mix of on-yomi and kun-yomi anyway, it doesn't even make any sense. If you want to misread it, at least go all the way and give it a full kun-yomi reading. "Ikusahime" would sound kind of cool xp)
You probably should watch at least the first two seasons of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha.
For a different kind of "badass" - and probably not the one you're looking for - you want Princess Tutu.

I know a lot of people will hate me but I still haven't watched Nanoha, I know is great but is like I can't for no reason haha I'll give it a try again.

I watched... a season and a half of it, I think? I know everyone thinks As is the best season, but I'd got bored of the cutesy slashy moeblobs and the action wasn't good enough to keep me entertained by that point.
But it's very much in the vein of what I think Step's presumably looking for.

I think its famous for the militaristic aspects and/or the magical girls fighting each other schtick which MyHIME most likely does better along with better character designs and :sdburton.
