This was pretty good and I'm going to keep watching it. I like the way the flat shading of the characters pops against the backgrounds, and there's something about the dialogue so far that makes the world feel very... complete? Like there's a larger order and history to things that the viewer doesn't know, but it informs the way the characters act in a consistent way.

However, even I have to confess that that was a damn good fight. I may hate CG robots from the bottom of my tiny, crusty heart, but that was a good fight. If this show continues to have fights that are THAT kind and THAT quality, I'll stick with it. Then it'll be a show with shit writing, interesting ideas, and kick ass fights held back only by their use of terrible CG. Heck the Red V fully activated mode or whatever even looked cool which is a first for any unit in this show.

Sounds pretty awesome, I'm gonna have to get back into this show.
The fight scene was pretty good, and there was some decently animated stuff at the beginning of the episode. Either they blew the whole budget on this episode, or they hired some more people and this is a good sign.

Well I wasn't expecting THAT to be the ending of the episode. The battle itself was very fun kind of reminded me of Valkyria Chronicles but with magic cards. I'm kind of hoping the cards themselves get a bit more rules to them to establish how they work.

Yeah I just got to some of that stuff.
I was kinda hoping she would join up with them in some way at the end of the first season.

I enjoyed the episode despite alot of overly cliched stuff in getting Rei to join. I think the show is hitting is stride and while not something great, will be something I enjoy watching.

Don't really remember this show being that violent before in the opening. Not that I'm complaining mind you, just midly surprised about it.
Rest of the episode was pretty tame. Jealous Hibiki and Magistrate looked very cute after hearing about the marriage proposal from Jinbei's dad. Nice to see and hear about Jinbei's mom for once, he definitely gets his endless optimism and energy from her. That story about how he and she met and proposed to one another makes alot of sense after seeing their interaction together.
And I thought Oharu was pretty big but Jinbei's mom was no slouch herself.
All I remember from watching Casshern Sins when it was on Toonami was that it was Pretty. And boring. Pretty Boring in the beginning/middle. But it was pretty good overall. Pretty.

Not that i dislike this turn of events , One basic rule when you're riding a castle is not to stop your attempts , if you fail once... this turn of events was quite predictable , and somehow sudden and that's also why i was surprised by genbu events in episode 62 ..

Somehow it works i must admit that another theory on omega is welcome but the result not what i expected. i mean Omega is in the title of the anime from the start and we're only Now starting to tak about what omega is ? According to the current theory ( that is believable at least ) , Omega

Isn't this happenning because the writter wrote themselves in a corner when you allowed the protagonist to reach that level so easily ? i understand that this was painfully necessary to defeat gold saints but when you look at the previous arc , they didn't defeat that many of them. Honnestly this feels like a retcon.
NOTE TO SELF : When wll they kill subaru ? can he disappear ? I'd rather have poron on screen than subaru. what a horrible character.

The plus side is that, at the very least, the cover of Volume 18 implies that
Kaname will be piloting an Arm Slave of her own, judging from the plug suit.

I don't like haruto , i don't like subaru either , so when an episode featuring those 2 character happen , i was expecting the worst.
Thankfully i only got a below average episode.
I guess that wasting an entire episode seeing haruto being nerfed and unable to fight properly because subaru is there prevent him to do so is something i wasn't expecting ...
I still think haruto is a stain in a otherwise great cast, but i don't mind an episode starring him if they manage to bring a cool fight in the mix. that was supposed to be the case , yet , subaru messed up again.
Subaru , why don't you just die ... Thanks to you the plot goes nowhere , you're managing to kill good premises and prevent some awesome fights from happenning.

Conflicted over Wataru, he has the best voice, but why does Yuki Kaji have to voice the shota...that sometimes looks girly.
Otherwise, Yusuke is definitely the best one followed by Natsume, Subaru (that scene when he was in the bathroom), Futo (probably 2nd best), and then the twins Tsubaki and Azusa who gave the best scene in a while for the genre

Finally after meeting all the brothers and lol triplets, I realize there are 13 brothers. It would have been pretty cool if it was like Fruits Basket where each brother was based off a Chinese Zodiac plus the cat and dunno silly hijinks or whatever?
Of course the sensible thinking is that who cares if they are your 'brothers' since you aren't even blood related anyway!
