What? Blasphemy! Nah just kidding. AC is definitely not for everyone but I loved it. Scared to return to it now for fear of weeds.
Reading all this 3DS talk makes me realize how much I played it last year (FE:A, LOZ:LBW, Pokemon, SMTIV, AC) and how it's so barren this year. At least Smash and Persona Q are still coming this year.
Holy crap Full Metal Panic is like about $20 on Amazon, yeah I'm gonna pick it up. Definitely not something I should skip.

You're waiting for the big inevitable overly dramatic train wreck to come?Glasslip 4
Why am I still watching this?

That was a much darker beginning than I was expecting from this show. In a way, it gives me hope towards character development in this season and the sequels. Judging from the first episode, however, fight scenes should be animated just fine, and that's always a plus.
Thanks for the answer guys. Will look into the name.
Tokyo Ghoul 4
lol at the grimdark. Is this show going to give Barack Obama a run for its money at the most exaggerating face reactions? It might win though because this one is trying to make it psycho and dark, but it comes off as hilarious. I hope somebody makes a gif of the guy sniffing on the handkerchief I died laughing. So then we can have the trifecta of gifs of this season's anime:

I was in this for the battle anime and I know it's coming, but please hurry up.
Funimation's source is darker for some reason. What is going on there?
I wish I knew this before I started The Second Raid. Though now I can't remember at all where I was in the show since I stopped when I learned this fact. I should get back into that show.Fumoffu comes before the Second Raid, because Tessa has a photograph on her desk in The Second Raid from the hot springs trip in Fumoffu.
Persona 4 The Golden Animation Episode 3:
Right, I think I have had enough of the wacky hijinks, I understand they want to focus on the new stuff, but the jumps are so large that all sense of coherency is lost and the new stuff is, well, shit. Dropped like a sup-par RPG.
Watch the Persona 3 movies when they come out.
Wait should Full Metal Panic Fumoffu be seen before Second Raid, or is it the other way around.
Sabagebu 3
This is amazing.
I'll admit that I've never seen Steins;Gate, but what does Bravely Default have to do with it?

Yes. Easily the funniest show this season!
Or I could just play Persona 4 again, I like this idea more.
i don't know what coherency you seek since it's obvious that the anime is intended for people already familliar with the game plot or with the previous anime.
With only so "few" episodes , the true end already adapted, there is no reason to make an anime if not to treat the new events from" golden"
Yeah I really want a Blu-ray re-release of Baccano. I mean on amazon it costs like $114 to $300, so expensive.
Person of Interest and Elementary make CBS one of the better networks in terms of strong serialized procedural television. They're probably two of my favourite ongoing network shows at the moment.Really struggling to get through Season 1. The procedural shit is grinding me down. I know it gets better in Season 2 but man it's a slog.

Magical girl idol singers. That's what we've got here.
The story begins with two idols in the middle of a concert when suddenly an alien menace called Noise attacks. The two transform and try to protect everyone, but inevitably, many die. A girl by the name of Hibiki Tachibana, who was at the concert at the wishes of a friend who's circumstances caused her to miss the concert at the last minute, survives, but at the sacrifice of one of the idols.
Two years later, she has now made her way to the same school as the remaining idol, wishing to learn more about the circumstances of her survival. However, as she is on her way home after school, she runs into a swarm of Noise, and must try and escape to survive, protecting a young girl that was in the same area. Finally, surrounded on a rooftop, Hibiki starts to sing, and a power begins to emerge...

Baccano! 13
Somehow they managed to wrap up at least 5 different stories satisfactorily in 22 minutes. The time skip at the end with Isaac and Miria was great.
Baccano! Series
After the first few episodes I wasn't sure what to think of this series. There were so many time jumps and so many characters to follow. Everything was out of order and most of the time I had no idea what was going on. However, once I got used to the style of how everything was done it started to click and became much more enjoyable.
All of the characters were great. There were a lot of them but I felt a good amount of them got some character development and background which is impressive for such a short series. The way Czeslaw's character was handled right at the end was really well done and I was quite impressed with him. Isaac and Miria were the silly comic relief character but they never got annoying and were consistently funny. Ladd and Rail Tracer's ideologies and morals were very interesting in how they saw the world and others around them. If I could see more of any character it would be these two.
The music and animation were great. I liked the style they used for the character animation. The OP is great. Narrative wise, the style was very different. I'm not sure if this worked for the series' benefit or not but I quite enjoyed it.
I give the series an 8/10. I know there are OVAs that follow this series and I'll probably give them a watch eventually.
tokyo ghoul ep 4
can someone explain to me how a kitchen knife being thrusted as hard as he can can't cut the skin of a ghoul as seen when he first discovered he was a ghoul, but a cracked tea cup he barely touches can cut him? That bothered me for the entirety of the second half of the episode :/
Best comedy is obviously Tokyo Ghoul. Hands down.
But were talking about intentional comedy and I doubt Tokyo Ghoul is that.

Since both Baccano and Durarara are from the same author, which one is better if you had to choose.

I'd approve of it.Someone here called me SliceSeiba and I almost feel like begging duckroll/the mods to change my name to that.

all jokes aside watch the OVA's, they're pretty great and finish/continue the story.
I love Isaac and Miria as well. They had the perfect level of upbeat and silly, it never got annoying.
Don't hesitate and watch the oavs ... They will give you information you want on the characters. and they are great.
Once you've been able to let it all soak in , just watch durarara next.
Watch the OVAs for Graham Specter.
