Bleh. It's just frustrating to see them at the most make her go on defense and then suddenly eye has victory. I'd rather her just beat them outright. That's why she's Dark Precure of the Sharigan
Seeing through flaws doesn't mean you can't still enjoy something though.

I'm trying to be less reductionist because Gonzo did produce some stuff I enjoyed, like Gatekeepers and Gankutsuou. It's not entirely impossible for them, just seems to be very hard, since they made like a dozen shows every year at their prime. Quantity over quality, etc.
There has been too many flaws for me to enjoy it at this point. I don't mind the CGI but the mech fights haven't even been that interesting as of late due to poor direction. I was hoping for some evangelion/madoka mech goodness when I heard Urobuchi was behind it but sadly that is not what I got.
I guess it's a case of mismatched expectations. I always knew that Urobuchi was kinda hands-off on this, and that it was mostly a "Gundam killer" product that Aniplex has been trying to get off the ground for years now. I expected it to be fairly formulaic, with a layer of glossy stylistic visuals thanks to the director Ei Aoki. The writing and development of the show is definitely disappointing to me, but the rest of the production so far is about what I expected.
I find the extreme aversion to star older, more mature (usually), and more experienced (*wink wink*) characters detrimental to a lot of series.
Can you imagine Fate/Stay in the Workforce? T'would be amazing.

We need more anime about the struggles of salarymen.
An industry that survives by exploiting its workforce creating works depicting the exploitation of the workforce would be too meta. Entire industry would immediately be sucked into a tear in space-time.
I fundamentally agree but it's fairly well known that your work has to feature characters that resemble your target demographic (or at least what appeals to said demographic), so anime will forever be stuck in it's teens.
As much as I loved Heaven's Memo Pad, putting it in the top ten feels off.I find this both hilarious and depressing. The juxtaposition of the claim in the title with the image made me laugh.

Isn't there an anime about making anime next season? Still starring teenaged girls mind you.
Well that or KyoAni dropping all the bullshit, and making my Harry Potter anime with sweet magic battles.
I thought anime's biggest spenders (Japan-wise) were male workers?
I can't imagine teens having enough cheddar to afford $70, 2-episode volumes on a regular basis.
Unless this isn't the main way anime makes money (i.e. it relies more on merchandising and such)?
Anime's biggest spenders are manchildren with disposable income but very narrow tastes. That's the problem.

hello
edit: wait im not a man child
mahou shojo ... are older men
I will give you a picture of the future of Aldnoah.Zero, imagine a boot stepping on the forehead of Saline forever.
DTL will be happy
DTL hates salty water?
first thing I came up with... Hermionehaving that one potion that turns her into a catgirl be permanent instead of just a temp set back

Dai-Guard was kinda like that, I thought.
Is it really? A Xebec mecha isn't the place I'd think to look. Is it worth watching?
Heh, S2 will be fun if only because of this harem stuff.Knights of Sonia episode 6
Did this just turn into a harem
no matter, the OTP is still progressing smoouuerraaa, er nevermind.
Aria: The Animation 04
Much cat butt in this episode.
This episode is straying into sappy fluff. Maybe I'm just bitter.
Aldnoah has Boku no Pico writer behind it.
If I know my stuff, even harder trials await Slaine. Very hard trials.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Ep. 1
Watching this, it's hard to believe that Chobits was produced in the same year. Of course, something like this had a way bigger budget and Production I.G.'s technical prowess goes without saying.
Ah, good to know. I knew it had a less conventional release but not to that extent. That does make it more unfair to compare the two. So it's kind of like a halfway point between an OVA series and a television series. It's also worth noting that while Chobits was just a regular TV series, GitS:SAC was a PPV on demand show with two episodes a month. Very different format.
I don't think it looks that bad. (Aside from the OP.) Are there any television works from that time period you find visually appealing?SAC are ugly as hell barring some sakuga, just saying
