or cut a streaming deal where you can show it uncensored like akami ga kill seems to have.

Yeah it's a bit stupid, but that's how it is. I was a bit salty over Tokyo Ghouls censorship, but you just got to deal with this kind of stuff.

Apparently Terraformars got hit with the Black Screen stick worse than Tokyo Ghoul. Once I get home I'll check to see how bad it is

You've crossed the line sir. This is my most anticipated show this season. I don't want to be disappointed.
yeah i think there is a cable channel (I think it starts with an A) that at like 4am lets them run uncensored stuff... not 100% though as most of the shows that manage to air like that I don't really care about, and in general I don't have any need for knowledge on how anime actually airs in japan... so I have never looked into it in detail.
they can, as I said akami ga kill is uncensored on crunchyroll... as I got really confused when people were taking screen shots and posting the censorship of that show on MAL when I had just watched it uncensored lol.

Mad Bull 34 and Garzey's Wing (dub for both) are three episodes only!
How is that even possible? Tokyo Ghoul literally had moment of the whole screen being black.
More people need to experience Black Rock Shooter TV.

I really don't know why I decided to watch this... but alas the terrible rap at the start should have been my hint to run away, but I didn't. (I was watching it dubbed)
anyways, it wasn't as bad as I expected, but parts of it clearly were just there to try to sell the games... I think Saints Row really ruined this for me though as the main character's name is Genki, and it is said about every 5 seconds... likely to really drive home his name to the kids, but each time it's said all I could think of was...

Tokyo ESP 12 + Final Thoughts
It was alright. I like that it was an action show with a female protagonist, and the way it played out like a summer blockbuster had its moments, and certainly no lack of setpieces. It also convinced me to add Ga-Rei to my backlog for the future, but otherwise I got what I was looking for. A decent action show. Nothing spectacular.

I am kind of curiour about why content on Japanese TV is censored at all. I mean, I understand the history of how pornographic material got censored, but I don't understand why TV stations feel the need to censor cartoon gore. It's just a weird cultural artificial.

It depends on which master they get. Rail Wars for example aired much earlier in the week but didn't have things like panty shots whereas the version Crunchyroll got, did.

SD is just much more infamous and visible than the rest of those. The List is an mysterious and ethereal being. Needs to be put in OP for all to see.
