Diebuster episode 4
Fuck time dilution when you can warp anywhere.
Great episode.

Whether you have a Buster Machine or not is irrelevant !

Only if you're already a Buster Machine.

Considering ufo has God Eater now (whose production seems to be a clusterfuck already) and then that Tales anime later, I don't think they're gonna start production any sooner than 2016. The lack of new footage/screenshot from the PV shown at the end of UBW and the article on the new TM Ace issue seems to reinforce this.

And I think it's mentioned somewhere in that new issue that it'd be "a couple years" before we get the film, but dunno if it was translated correctly.

._.

Maybe I will read the VN.

If you want to go straight to Heaven's Feel, you'll need to download a save file. It's worth it so you don't have to suffer through Fate at the very least. Also, be warned that Heaven's Feel is super porny. There's a little bit of Hentai in Fate and UBW, but Heaven's Feel triples down on it.

Humanity Has Declined 2

This is a weird show. Good thing I like weird shows. First episode I watched months ago and to be honest I was a little off-put but surprisingly I remember most of what happened in it because of how different it is. I really like the main character and there was some really funny moments that were in this episode. Should be an interesting watch. Thankfully it shouldn't be too time consuming as it's only 13 episodes long.

My favorite show from that year, easily.

I see you're watching it in broadcast order too.

Had a big stupid grin on my face watching this. Even the angsty stuff at the beginning didn't bother me much because how fun the whole thing is. And all that sakuga galore, dayum.
Based Trigger saving anime. Part 3 when?

BTW, did Fate invade Splatoon? (from TM Ace)

NAKIRI GENES ARE THE BEST GENES

I also like how they made Erina cosplay Blanka since that parallels with how Tsukuda (Author of Shokugeki no Soma) and Ono use those characters on their twitter profile picture.

Hallelujah!

I would also like to state how much I like this show. It´s fun, entertaining, and creative, it knows how to enhance its "epicness", it has a likable cast and a great sense of humour. It´s great shounen, just the way I like it.

It also makes me really hungry each time I see a episode :p

Dear god.

So what is worth watching this season? So far I checked out...

Wakaba * Girl - cute... but short series don't really do much for me

My Wife is the Student Council President - tad too generic... and another short

A lot of shows haven't started yet. Besides what you listed I've watched Classroom Crisis and it was okay (don't worry it's not a short like the others).

I really enjoyed Humanity has Declined. The bleak premise juxtaposed against the bright, saturated colours and the laid back music was really interesting to watch. The knowledge that humanity would eventually die out made it quite bittersweet and poignant, and the general implication that Earth would be better off without it only added to that.

I am just watching it however Crunchyroll has it set up. I honestly didn't know there was a different order...

It doesn't really matter if you watch in broadcast order or the "true" order imo - the majority of the stories are self contained, and it's fairly easy to work out when things happen relative to each other.

So Aoharu x Kikanjuu is basically a mashup of Ouran High School Host Club and Sabagebu/C3-bu.

We're basically of at a point where new ideas are just mashups of old ideas now, aren't they? lol

(I'll still watch anyway because the whole reverse-harem + why am I falling in love with this boy who seems like a girl because he's really a girl thing is, despite being a direct ripoff, better than nothing I suppose)

How is it like Sabagebu/C3-bu?

The guys are survival game toy gun otaku. There's literally a pointlessly ridiculous match in the first episode that serves as the "excuse" for the story to happen (much like breaking the expensive vase that Haruhi breaks in Ouran).

Shokugeki no Soma 4-7

This show is like, subverting all the expectations I had for it going in.

Like, I was expecting the dorm to be filled with a bunch of unlikable losers and the dorm itself to be THE WORST DORM IN THE HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL.

But actually no! The people there are actually likable characters with enjoyable personalites! The dorm actually had produced good cooks in the past too!

And it turns out one of the students there is the SEVENTH BEST IN THE ENTIRE SCHOOL! Okay, so he puts up the facade of a silly guy but is actually gonna be a real scary jerk right?

Actually no! He's pretty fun and likable too! The cast of the main characters is enjoyable without it having to resort to forced drama or anything!

Then that freaking cook-off in episode 7. I knew Soma would win. It was obvious. But man, watching that smug look on that meat girl's face getting wiped off is just so damn satisfying. It helps a lot that Soma isn't a wimpy protagonist with a contrived tragic backstory or anything. He's just a dude who's got a natural talent who just wants to surpass his dad. The show manages to stay interesting the way Soma brings a new concoction to the table every time!

I love this show. Like, I REALLY love this show. It's that kind of positive show that I can just sit down and enjoy. It really is like Gundam Build Fighters in a way. It's just so good

Glad you like it, Soma is amazing! I agree with everything you said, Somas personality and the great sidecast are probably a big reason for it to be so good. Isshiki is just hilarious.

Wait, really? Everything about Soma and its character designs makes so much more sense. I really started digging the manga and the echi went from off-putting to charmingly hilarious at some point. Haven't bothered checking out the anime yet.

You should fix that. The adaption so far has been absolutely perfect for me.

The mystery is also being badly handled. For an adaptation of a classic formal mystery series, it seems bizarre that the first episode delivers a mystery premise without delivering any suspects. There's nothing to guess at yet because it's so busy delivering exposition about the setting that the mystery itself gets shunted aside.

Well, I already have a guess regarding the murderer. But I hope I'm wrong, because if it's that easy I'm going to drop this show immediately.
It's
the greyed out girl in the classroom scene that talkes with Kobayashi and the class rep. She says something about how the corpse of the teacher looks, but we learn later that detective shounen forced a media ban, so no one should know specifics like that except for Kobayashi and class rep who were at the murder scene. And they couldn't have told anyone because they were at the station and when they came back it was already animu-sensei time. Of course this theory falls apart if there were some off-screen things going on.

Holy crap, this show is faithful to its crazy nonsense until the very last minute. There is absolutely no plot to this one and nothing really makes sense, but then again, it didn't need to. It was just plain ecchi fun and craziness throughout. I can't rate it extremely high because it does nothing great other than just being crazy and fun to watch, lol.
I remember that there was a small plot by the end , but with all the summoning , the thieves and the rest of teh cast , i don't really remember anymore.
Not a great show , but certainly not a bad one.
Minami-ke Okawari 7

Kana's selfishness has gotten to grating levels. Fujioka's struggle is real.
To think that fujioka struggle was manuifactured by a misunderstanding in episode 1 of the first season ... it certainly has it hard !

Thanks. Definitely added to my queue.

In all fairness, Kadokawa shares some of the blame for that one, by limiting them to 10 episodes. I mean, they probably would have been forced into an anime original ending either way, but they might have been able to improve some parts of it with a couple extra episodes to work with.

Kadokawa ruins everything with their 10 episode bullshit :(

Of course, everyone's forgetting about BONES #1 hit series, Tenkai Knights.

My favorite Bones show is Angelic Layer. Whoever worked on that deserves a medal!

I was going to say "at least MAPPA hasn't screwed up too bad yet", but then I remember Terror in Resonance was a thing. That's probably one of the biggest waste of staff potential in recent memory.

Which studio HASNT screwed up yet?
They all have dark moments in history.

All right. Now I can finally power through Humanity has Declined.

HELL YES. You will love it!

That was the point where I knew I'd never watch another episode.

Still finished it, though, just to know exactly what beast I was dealing with.

"Inspired" by Ranpo's works.

fixed it for u

Hmm that sorta thing only makes me want to watch it more!

BY the way WHAT IS THAT PICTURE FROM? Nobody explains it. Its annoying.

I dont know why people expected them to simulcast it. The other DBZ Kai's were never simulcast in america (currently airing buu saga is not being simulcast for example), so that should have been a hint that Super wouldnt be either, imo.

Because Dragon Ball is the biggest anime franchise around and also TOEI had Sailor Moon Crystal sent out to all of the streaming sites.

Sailor Moon Crystal Episode 25:

Okay, this is the episode I have been waiting before because it really does showcase how screwed over Sailor Pluto got in the original anime and it is nice to finally see her with some agency and a character arc in animated form.

Classroom Crisis 1

It's time...

to go make payment for a hostage being just a teacher without contacting the police or the higher-ups of the company or anyone!

It's time...

to type really fast to provide "support"!

The premise is fairly original: a small group of genius high schoolers (mainly engineer types? they were building a spaceship for racing) that are in a private academy owned by a hi-tech corporation. In other words, they are half-high schoolers, half-future corporation employees being tutelaged with care for important positions. The MC is a "badass businessman" type, and he is too
a bean-counter who plans to downsize the school as it's too expensive.

I think its somewhat related to the Princess and the Pilot which was actually a decent movie. I honestly havent seen this series though.

Fuck all y'all and your Key hate. Your just not man enough to let the tears flow! Be real with your emotions! Come to the dark side of humanity, I will light the way to salvation, kill all your reservations and allow you to embrace great loss, great love and great emotional moments.

Take Responsibility

Hey, give me a little credit here. I actually like Key shows.
I do have a high tolerance for movie melodrama though. I also have near zero tolerance for real life drama but thats another story!

Gate ep 1

High fantasy monsters like dragon, orcs, goblins get rekt by modern guns and explosives? Hell yeah!

I'll continue to watch if it gives more of this killing.....and elf girl too.

Are you watching a different Plastic Memories?

Isla looks 14 at best. I know people look young in general in anime art style, but they also have a character who keeps accusing MC of being a pedo for his attraction to Isla, so it is clear the story wants us to view her at basically looking prepubescent. I suppose the show calls it out so it can pretend to be moral to some degree, while still milking its intended otaku pedophile audience. A *wink wink nudge nudge* kind of thing.
