Dunkirk
Ow my ears. The theater's sound system ruined the movie. The subwoofer was set up in a wrong way, and the way the shaking mixed with the sound of the movie, combined with the really loud volume made my ears cry. I could barely hear the soundtrack at times.

This show is fucking amazing lol. Its been really enjoyable so far. Just seeing three brothers work together is great. Didn't think drinking would be Yajiro's medicine. Also Benten just doesn't give a fuck lol. Why is she even here?
Loving both the mom and Kaisei as characters. Loved how Kaisei helped the little tanuki by throwing him over the fence. Benten can get fucked...lol.
Only in a truly horrifying nightmare future would you make something as awesome a universal recycler and only put one every every three floors or so, thus forcing the player character to constantly run back to dump shit into it.
It's kind of vexing how few anime and manga series understand that tragedy exists as an actual genre in storytelling, though. Guess moe waifu wars sell more than main characters having to give up everything they hold dear due to their informed character flaws and then topping it all off by dying.
Gungrave is a good tragedy, just skip the 1st episode and somehow power through when it f gets to the damn videogame plotline(you'll know when it happens), final episode brings it back.
Just wanna reconfirm that Nagi-asu has one of the most robust character dynamics I've seen. It is so good, how the series knows its characters and acts like they are as important as they think they might be while also linking it all to the greater picture in a focused dramatic unraveling, that develops them astutely over time. The setting feels under-explored at times, but considering how well-done the YA romantic angst is, its background relegation is forgivable. This is magic and consistently so too. One of the favs!!
That bad eh.
I would say it still could be better in anime because adaptions can be different, they have another execution... but it's being done by the same people who did the previous UBW series so forget that.

Ah and so we finally get the day in the life of Sadara episode and god damn was it boring, really the show is lacking a solid direction outside of Ninja Training and walking on water is less interesting then you would think it would be. Also, I still hate Sakura and her twisted relationship with Sasuke with the passion of a thousand suns.
The routes in Fate branch early and are pretty different from each-other - Heavens Feel in particular does some things near the beginning that sweeps the legs out from under the reader and progresses in a fairly tonally different fashion for much of it. That said, that's the general problem with Fate, and why I'd doubt Heavens Feel would particularly win anyone who didn't find at least some enjoyment from UBW over - even if the contents and tone of the route differ, the game forces you to play the routes in a given order for a reason, as each successive route builds both thematically on the one prior and upon the expectations built in a fashion that unfortunately doesn't come across particularly well in the scattershot fashion it's made its way to anime. A lot of the things which are neat about reading Heavens Feel have, at this point, been negated, or at least diluted, by things done in the other adaptations or spin-offs.
That said, I bet some of the fights in the HF movie will be freaking cool.
I actually forgot about that plot point. I think explaining Lelouch's geass to his former allies would've been enough to cast a shadow of doubt over all "miracles" he had worked (and people such as Todoh and Karen were already pretty suspicious about him), but then they even had a dossier with "proof" of his ability being used on lots of people, including freaking Shirley, which nobody every had any definitive proof on (I mean, everyone at school knew she had loved him long before Lelouch got his geass, and nobody except for us the audience ever really learned she had been brainwashed by it).
I guess it was all over as soon as Lelouch said he would lie to anyone but Nunnally, only to become Zero, the freaking leader of a bloody rebellion against Britannia behind her back. After that he just began piling up lies on top of lies, meaning his plan was little more than a house of cards that was doomed to crumble the moment anyone learned anything (him being Britannian royalty, how he used his geass, how he routinely prioritized Nunally's safety over his role as Zero, and so on).

Got any recommendations? I sometimes do pick random shows up in CR, but I've come to realize it's often a lot safer to ask around for decent shows to watch instead. I mean, I did get really lucky with picking Kokoro Connect out on a whim, but on the other hand I also watched Another that way...
Holy shit is her brand of idiocy contagious or something? She's already spreading it to morals president girl who already was a closet pervert and that poor little girl she hangs out with.
Tsurezure Children
DROPPED. I forgot how much I actually hate love stories. Thank you for reminding me. These insipid little love stories seemed designed to kill off the audience's brain cells by being overly cute and that's about it.
New Game!! 03
I find Nene's novice attempts to create her very own video game with Umiko's help to be more interesting than Aoba's issues right now.
Code Geass - END
..............
I'm kind of wary of the third season that was announced, since it looks like continuing the story from the point S2 ended in would probably require figuratively exhuming the show and coming up with little more than an excuse plot.
Yup Code Geass was one of the early series I caught and I've been looking for something that could keep building on itself like that show since. Everything is ultimately down to the contradictions inherent in Le Louche's personality and his shameless abuse of his geass for "good".
I must have missed the announcement of a 3rd season outside of commercial reasons I can't come up with a single other justification for this, it's going to be so bad isn't it?

The real sign when it comes to Fate is reading through Heaven's Feel thinking "that was cool", only for the realization of what you've read to hit you years later. Then you're just stuck with, "actually that might have been a bit messed up" and a constant feeling of regret for your lost time.
I'll still probably end up watching the movies too, if only for ufotable's animation.
They could totally do like an OVA that's like a documentary on the struggles of being an Indie Dev (even though it's just a side-project and Nene is still in college)
I knew who he meant; I was just trying to point out that those were the titles for two different people! This is why I just stick with names over titles for Servants these days.
