Ugh. Game looked cool in the teaser...but that Twitter account and the way those characters look is really annoying. You can just tell what kind of humor they're going for already...Sexburger?
 
Personality goes a long way for me when it comes to games, and this one looks like it's at least fighting for some. I read the Overcharged site from top to bottom (including the AMAZING fine print), and I think they're definitely headed in the right direction.

This game previously had my curiosity, now it has my attention.

Everything about this game just makes me think it's going to be so mediocre. Obviously hope I'm wrong since it definitely has potential, but eh.

Yes, you're right... the whole game is gonna be orange just like those images!
That isn't a filter meant to disguise the look of game until the reveal on Thursday, no not at all. That is how the actual game is gonna look like! Because why wouldn't it? People love games with orange filters.
They should call it Sunset Orangedrive, am I right?

EDIT: And also the people complaining about Fizzie... I definitely see the similarity, I can see why Sackboy would pop in your head, but he hardly looks like a Sackboy ripoff. I think it's a great design, personally (I also love Sackboys and wish they were the PS equivalent of Miis/Avatars)

Well, it sounds like a central part of the story AND game play. And is a fantastic thing to use in marketing if they can get real cans out in the wild, so why not?!

Yeah some of these posts are hilarious. Trying a bit too hard to downplay a game they've seen zero gameplay for. Not surprising though.

The point is that companies are obnoxious, and it's trying to mimic that.

A huge part of the game is parodying modern business. Like the thing I pointed out in my post on the last page. It's CLEARLY mocking EA.
 
I really dislike that stupid sort generic look of the characters. They convey none of the bright colorfulness of that E3 trailer. And I get Knack vibes from it.
