They are listed under "mix and match caps" category for focus attack but like notworksafe said they are closed for now. I think they are the only retailers that sell just the cap. Good news is that when they open there will be a 15% sale off everything.

Are you only interested in the white Rivals stick? Mad Catz is hyping them as a limited run but they don't have any limited edition numbering so it's hard to say. Your best bet might be to get the Chun Li stick which is supposed to release in fall of this year, so just a few months.

I mean I'll want a stick regardless, but the Rivals artwork really appeals to me, since Ken is usually my main in SF.
 
So hype for EVO tomorrow. Have 8am pools for Tekken, so going to hit up sanwa and paradise booths hella early.

I wish they were selling the Chun te2 at EVO.

I have the Titan One, as I read that it supersedes the CronusMax. Been using it on XBO KI and GG Xrd & USF4 PS4. Works ok. Some days I feel like there is latency, other days I feel like there's none, but I don't have an idea to test this as I would like to test vs a PS3 stick for USF4. On PS4, there is a 10minute timeout where the controller resets itself, which is aggravating because you lose all input for a second. If you are casually (CPU/training mode) playing it's fine, but I wouldn't use it at a tournament. It's banned at EVO as well.
 
Thanks to everyone who helped. I'll get a Hori stick, and replace the buttons with Sanwa buttons. Be on the lookout for me to win Evo in a couple of years

In your experience, was it really hard to get the balltops or anything limited you were looking for at EVO?

What time do doors open? I believe the sanwa stuff will be at the mad catz booth. Good luck in your pools!

So I'm thinking I wanna redo my Akuma custom art print that I just applied to my TE2. I had it printed at Office Depot, and the only paper that they had in legal size was this shitty card stock. The end result was too thick, kind of washed out, and hard as hell to cut through for the button holes.

I checked around for local print shops that could offer me better print quality and paper, but they had all gone out of business.

Is there anyone online who offers high-quality printing/cutting for stick art? I know Art's Hobbies is the go-to for most people, but they won't cut to the specifications of the original TE2 artwork. They use smaller holes because their plexi is smaller than what comes with the TE2.

Last year, one type of balltops had sold out really quick. Within the first few hours. I got one of the briarwoods, and the only kind left when I went there (this was last year) was the non-smoothed type.

Doors open at 8. There's always a line forming before then.

I just got my pass. Had to wait in line for an hour. My phone died just as soon as I got up to the front. #fail

LOL, in that case i really planned this out badly! My flight gets in tomorrow morning, so I'm gonna head there straight from the airport. Well we'll see what's left when I get there. Thanks for the info.

If you're getting in tomorrow, you'll probably be in line for your pass for an hour or more.

Probably the type of thing you want to see in person before you buy, though. They're all pretty different even though they're made from the same wood. Part of what I love about them. But offer is open. :)

Just pulled out my barely used TE1 SFIV stick and plugged it into my PS4. What games can I currently play with using a TE1(PS3) on a PS4, if any?
 
Any evo coupons floating around? Need a ps4 stick. Either going to snag the hrap 4 or te2. Not really sure about the te2 due to no touchpad so it'd have to be at a fantastic price.
 
Is there any consensus on having an Octagonal gate vs a square gate? I mean should you be utilizing the gate in terms of your motions to begin with? Do pro's generally lean towards one or the other?

I believe its 15 percent off storewide, starting Saturday evening sometime. They also said the sale would last twice as long as previous sales. No idea what that means.

Some of the Udon artists for SF are here. I'm a long time fan of Long Vo, and they have a setup going on where if you buy a book from them, one of the three artists here will do a sketch in it for you. Alvin Lee isn't here, one of my favorites, but Long Vo is awesome, too.

Had him do a sketch of Cammy in the book for me. :)

Did pretty well in T7 for never having touched it. Lost to matador (apparently an amazing JP player) who destroyed me, and another player named Tank, that match was much closer, but I still lost.

Resting in the room for a bit, drinking some water, then going to go wait in line for SF5 until my 4pm pools for USF4.

Says it's a limited run that they made for SDCC and EVO. Doesn't seem super limited but I doubt they'll last long. The last time they did this style was when SF4 was released and they only made 250 of those.

I bought one since PS4 stick selection is pretty limited and this is the only one that has the default buttons I want as well as enough hand room to be comfortable. Doesn't hurt that it'll hold some collector value in case I want to sell it for a different stick. :P

Guy behind me in line got the last rivals stick at EVO. Hey just a heads up, I was chatting with the mad catz folks and apparently they will be releasing new colors for the side panels as soon as next week. They were supposed to be here but missed shipment.
 
Yeah I remember the rivals stick. I want to pick this one up because of the limited availability but I don't think I should drop the money on it right now. Guess I can just hope they release a white one for SF5.

I just bought usf4 on steam and my Kai works perfectly. Its plug and play, should automatically install all necessary files to make it work. Just make sure you plug it in before you start up a game, since I've noticed that sometimes makes it not register. Oh, and I use it while its on ps3 mode since I heard that worked best for PC.
