The Wario Land 3-4 team has not made a game since the original Wario Ware Inc. (The newer Wario Ware games have been done by a new mix of R&D1 guys with the Intelligent Systems guys)

I do think this is from the Wario Land team as well. Especially the engine idea of sort of using emotion/transformation with Peach like what Wario used to do in part 4.
