Assuming Link doesn't fall fast like in Brawl when using that move, the meteor effect would be useful, but it would be bad for Link if it lasts too long, but I guess that is the risk vs reward thing for the move.Whaaat so you're saying this is as useful as giving link's downstab a meteor effect

I'm reallyyyyyyyyy loving how this game is sounding more and more like Smash 64 in this regard. Melee only had a handful of effective characters on a high level in relation to the roster count, whereas in 64 every single character felt highly effective. It was a combination of that game's hitstun and necessity to space (these are similar to Melee but it was more demanding because of the extensive combos you could pull off).
I have a good feeling about this game. Hopefully they don't butcher the online.... I think I would sell my Wii U and never buy (myself) another Nintendo product because Brawl hurt me that much ;'[
I have seen the creepy pics warning and waifu warnings. I have not heard of the avatar bets warning.

Yup. Plus Kid Icarus was in 3D and had SIX people moving around and blowing up shit, shooting lasers, getting flung across the map, and I never experienced lag outside a few random occasions.

How's the population for Kid Icarus these days? Been on the verge of buying a 3DS for ages, but decided to wait for the inevitable Smash bundle. Hopefully there will be some people online because I plan on buying a ton of games when I finally get one B]
It's still relatively busy online. I haven't had trouble getting into random matches since I've been playing non-stop from last Friday.

Ban bets were done away with a long time, they made unneeded busy work for the mods. It's avatar bets now... which usually ends up with people touting characters from a shitty Japanese anime in past experiences.

For my case, I don't use those shitty anime characters. I only use pictures that truly represented the bets, video games characters, etc. anime, brony, etc are too easy and boring.
You can see how I used death of waluigi picture for troubled bat since he bet for waluigi being playable character.
Why would Meta Knight be revealed for Kirby Triple Deluxe's western release? Meta Knight isn't even in the game as far as I know!
