The demo is pissing me off so much. I can't stand up to jump, and 2 minutes isn't enough time to have a proper match.

October 3rd needs to come faster!

It would be nice in a future patch for glory mode to get a battlefield variant or a 4 player for glory mode.

The online mode itself needs more playlists.

Ok yesterday I tried 4 lvl 9 CPU 99 minutes match to see whether the match can be saved or not, but I fell asleep while waiting it to finish lol. The result is it couldn't be saved for replay.

Now we know that Nintendo will patch the game (they already did on 3DS) I guess additional trophies and stuff do seem to be an option. Maybe release date update for both Wii U and 3DS when the WiiU version comes out

So apparently Sonic now has full movement when charging up his spin dash and has guaranteed combos at any percent if you land it. Sonic redeemed?

Edit: And it looks like he actually has some moves with KO potential this time around.

Can anyone confirm if any variation of Porygon is back or not?

The coveted Porygon knockout in Melee was a particularly stinging insult in my group of friends. I want it back!

Yup, I watched it. It was a great thing. Highly watchable, and they looked like they were having a blast.

I haven't seen anything that looked broken yet, and that's a great sign.

Trying more stuff with Link in the demo. Forward aerial from side hops don't seem very useful against the other characters since they're too small or I'm doing it wrong lmao.

Need to try to incorporate fast falling too and see if this is something worth pursuing.

Is it just me or does link play differently than in Brawl? He seems way faster...

^ He can now kill with dash attack and upsmash, spin attack is also a weak kill move uncharged, kill power otherwise seems similar from what I remember. Utilt might be stronger.

Side hops? You mean short hops? Time your fastfall so you hit with one of the swings the instant you land. Honestly bair might be a better bet for that though. The first hit of bair could combo into jab or down smash in Brawl I believe, so give that a try.

Yeah ok, that is true. I still need to put some more time into Villager...he is very promising, but Link, Pikachu and Megaman is where my time went :D Mario plays very well too but Pikachu is top notch in the demo...

I think I'm done with the demo for now, I really need to change the button layout. I was thinking b for jumping, y for attack and x for special if it's possible

jumping with the stick feels really awkward on the 3ds and is probably responsible for half of my deaths. Besides, none of the demo characters really interests me
