Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 14: Snake... had a hard life

New custom moves, I guess. He would never alter the base moveset though. I think you guys need to make peace with Fists o' Fury Ganon and be done with it.

They could have at least fixed that awful run animation. If only he agreed to see Bowser and Yoshi's chiropractor...

Nobody remembers Ivysaur... ):

I survived and actually went up in m position. Near the end of the thread I went nts on posts anyways, so....

IDK wtf is going on anymore I'm just winging all this shit.

Because I'm bored:
Hypothetical thematic moveset for hades (meaning I'm not bothering to fully balance percentages).

Neutral-Special: Breath of Darkness (chapter 23): 3/4ths the range of R.O.B.'s diffusion beam cone, same hitbox. Can be held.
Side-Special: In all Shadows (chapter 23 and 22 to an extent): Hades has a knack for appearing in the least pleasant of places. A teleport to the nearest character in the direction hades is facing, or to the nearest character if there aren't any other active players. After the teleport completes, he instantly slashes if in the air, or punches if on the ground.
Down-Special: Devilish Twister (chapter 25): a combination of mach tornado and Volcano Kick. Has the twister element but instead of being able to move, you draw in other people and items.
Up-Special: Decimation Preparation (chapter 23): a launcher at a roughly 80% angle. Very fast in both startup and actual movement speed.

Neutral-Standard: Shatter Punch (chapter 23): Similar to Kirby's Vulcan Jab.
Up Tilt: Shadow Bolt (chapter 25): One of the many arrows used to assault the GST in a direct upward trajectory. If you hold it more bolts come when it launches (slightly increasing horizontal hitbox and increasing damage), but the attack moves slower.
Side Tilt: Talons of Evil (chapter 10 and 23): Vertical hand swipe in front of Hades. Decent damage.
Down tilt: Earthbreaker (chapter 25): a ground pound. Small hitbox, but increases your falling speed if used in the air and doesn't complete until you hit the ground.
Dash Attack: Pursuit of Greed (chapter 25): Dashes into the opponent.

Forward Smash: Unstoppable Force (chapter 25): A punch similar in form to warlock punch with a slightly smaller hitbox but greater knockback if the sweet spot at the end of the fist connects.
Up Smash: Needle Growth: Shadow bolts sprout from the ground like thorns. Large hitbox but the knockback and damage is mediocre.
Down Smash: My Arm is Stuck: punches the ground, and a small ring of earth erupts for damage. Animation is slow.

Final Smash: Hades' Heart: Hades gets big and eats the stage, replacing all the stages' textures with that from Hades' Belly. You send out Hades' Heart, which controls similarly to the Wario Bike and damages on contact. After about 20 seconds, the Heart explodes, inflicting 30% damage to any nearby.

Aww... seriously gonna miss that guy. It was rad changing pokémon in Brawl.

I never really liked the Pokemon Trainer mechanic, but Ivysaur was probably the Pokemon I had the most fun with in Project M. It would have been great to see her get the same treatment as Charizard...

When I think about it, I enjoyed KI Uprising's menus and extra content more than the main game it's self. I'm feeling very confident that Sakurai is going absolutely cram the 3DS version with extra goodness. Not long to go now.

Yeah not going to lie the prospect of new Sakurai accomplishment walls is more exciting for me than the game itself.

I don't think I've posted in any of the Smash 3DS/Wii U threads but I just wanted to drop by and say that Snake not being in the game is some bullshit

KLONOA FOR SMASH!

With that out of the way, can't wait for the japanese release! I'm pumped for so many of the new characters

too bad Lucas is most likely out, but eh, I think I'm happy enough about the newcomers for it to be a decent tradeoff.

We already know the 3DS version will have plenty of extra goodness! I want to know more about the Wii U version now.

I main Ivysaur in Project M. (Well that and MewTwo.) But Ivysaur in Project M is the best part of the mod.

And Stage Builder, right?

Of course!

That's my theory at least.

Custom Events and Custom Stages, both exclusive to wii U. You can edit/make them using the gamepad, and then share them to friends.

If it weren't for ZSS, i'd also say custom palette swaps.
