How do you know it's female? The only playable Pokémon in the series that have confirmed genders are Pikachu and Mewtwo, the former because of its tail (male) and the latter because it is always genderless.

To be fair, the Monado isn't just a sword. I mean, yes, you can fight with it like one, given its big laser blade, and both Shulk and Dunban do use it as such quite a lot (well, Shulk moreso, since Dunban does all of it in the opening instead). The real crux of it is that it's a reality-warping device that allows its user (or at least Shulk) to get visions of the future. Hell, its power goes well beyond that, but then we're getting into some degree of spoiler territory.

Today I was at the Miiverse site, looking at the stages, and I realised that they haven't still shown anything DK-related for Wii U. I guess it's too soon to have one from Tropical Freeze, but it would be really cool if they did something with the giant octopus, since that way they would represent Returns and TF at the same time.

that was the most fun boss in the game IMO, a stage with him pandering around would be really cool

The Lockjaw's Saga remake for that level was fucking godlike.

I was thinking about a pretty generic shore/ DK House stage which starts sunny and gets freezed after a while when the vikings come, but this is pretty good too.

That would be a terrible representation for a fabulous game. I don't ever want to be reminded of anything related to the swimming stages (as well as the rocket barrel stages) ever again. Everything else about it was brilliant, though.

What are you talking about? The swimming was great! Were you torpedo dashing too much? The octopus is also in not-swimming stages.
Jeez, and the lack of rocket barrel/minecart was the worst thing about TF. Smh.

Maybe, I'm a pretty impatient gamer. I hate water stages in platformers in general, though, and TF certainly did nothing to change that. They were painful to play, even moreso than in most similar games like Mario and such.
It....it had rocket barrels. And Minecarts.
Next Level retweeted Sakurai's tweet once and it was Mac who was revealed. Of course people are taking it seriously. After Gematsu's leak so far I have no reason to doubt the guy.
