I'll probably miss most of Saturday, besides maybe the second half of the doubles sets, but by the looks of it I won't be missing too much, since it's pretty much just a set-up for Sunday anyway. Alright, cool, let the hype continue.

That M2K v. Leffen set was super cool to watch, but damn there's a lot f down time between matches :P.
 
A little off topic, but can anyone explain how exactly amiibo will interact with smash 4? Also will they play a part in the 3ds version?

3ds will get an amiibo dongle next year, but presumably yes

Amiibos summon a cpu that, as you fight it, or someone else does, including other amiibos, it adapts and changes its style. In addition, you can personally customize its moves as you can with fighters normally in this game. As such, amiibos will always be different between various people

In the same way regular cpu go up to level 9, amiibos go up to level 50, and their stats, such as attack, defense, speed, etc. will increase
