'Cause they're traditionally secret characters, except for Ice Climbers. Same with Jigglypuff. The fact that they weren't unlockable in Melee is a special case.

We haven't had any newcomer reveals outside Directs/E3, so no, I wasn't talking about that. And, IIRC, Marth was revealed just before the New Year's break, so that's probably why he was posted a day early. Nope, I was wrong there, he was revealed all the way back in November.

Maybe it's because it's late at night so my brain isn't functioning correctly but to me it seems like this is an extra mode?

Could someone maybe give us a direct translation of the Japanese comment?
 
So that stage has me thinking......will IT has a Final Destination version as well? Or is that strictly Wii U stages? Also, how would that Fire Emblem stage on Wii U look in Final Destination form as well?

...Anyway, I'd kill for this stage on the Wii U, darn it. I actually love Balloon Fight.
 
So...this is probably a dumb question, but is there an actual Balloon Fight mini game in the 3DS smash? The wording of the post is really strange. I love Balloon Fight and Balloon Trip Breeze was my favorite Nintendoland game, so that would be amazing

Streamed about 4 hours of Xenoblade tonight. First time playing the game.

Sooooo.......it's fucking AWESOME. Hot damn. Only got passed the "intro" (3 hours in a JRPG), but just wow. Shit gets real. Obviously I still have a long way to go, but right off the bat I just have a much better understanding of why people like this game so much. It really feels like it's something special. I think I'm really going to be excited to play as Shulk in Smash by the time I finish this, and before I played it, he was the character I was least excited for.

Thanks to the people on here that lead me into the game. It was one of the few games out there I literally knew nothing about. I hadn't even seen gameplay of it before. I don't know if I ever would've checked it out without the details you guys gave me. And thanks for the GAFers that came out to the stream. Shit was a lot of fun! I'll be continuing it tomorrow, I'll post it here when it starts.

Also, FUCKING REYN.

So, what unrevealed through POTD yet revealed through video stages are there at this point? The only ones I can think of are Final Destination on the 3DS and Pac-man on the 3DS.
 
I just wish he'd clarify on the different layouts of the stage. We've seen two so far and they seem to be designed rather than completely random like Tortimer Island, I want to know if there's a transition or they're just randomly picked like Mushroomy Kingdom.
