Rosalina not being in the leaks is enough to convince me that we do not know all the newcomers. Hoping there might be one or two more, I really want a female villain in Smash. I don't know how many Nintendo have, but whatever, I'm sure they can find something. Anyway, I am glad none of the leaks have covered the veterans though, Smash hype is better when the reveals are unpredictable.
They are pretty damn good from what I've heard. The netcode will be an improvement, some people were freaking out over Sakurai recommending a wired connection and took this as a way of Sakurai saying wifi will suck, or that he wasn't confident. I did not take it that way at all, people just shouldn't go wireless for fighting games... it is usually terrible.
I will post this for the 100th time.
I even notice differences when playing MK8 wired or wirelessly. If you have a good connection it is worth it.

Yeah, I would recommend people to pick up Nintendo Brand LAN Adapter because it have been solid for last 7 years, and still rocking for me.
Whoa whoa whoa. Top 7 definitely but not top two. Not in a series with Metroid Prime Spider, Emperor Ing, Emperor Ing Mutated, Quadraxis, Rundas & Gandryda. Also, Prime 2 version > Prime 3 version. They lowered the volume on that bitchin' ass guitar solo section and the distorted communication channel sound effects were sorta hit and miss. At least they did the right thing and emphasized the Kenji Yamamoto Chorus Samples everywhere.

Good to hear. And yeah, I didn't take Sakurai mentioning that as admittance the online would suck; it's very much in his character to be overly informative like that. I've never used one of these as even in wifi my connection has always been good, but I think I might finally get one for Smash. This is the first fighting game's online mode I'm going to get really into, so it should prove worth it.

Let's not forget the hidden gem that is the Hive Mecha boss theme. I think I'd give the nod to the Emperor Ing's final form as my fave Prime boss theme.
Kenji Yamamoto Chorus Samples are so good they infiltrated both of Retro's DKC games.
No one said the list is final, not even the leaker.

Nah man he's in Smash Run. Because Sakurai's evil and only puts in Kirby characters and everyone on this board hated DKC and only likes Metroid.

"Participating characters" means characters in the game.
Of course, it's older information, but expecting more characters is just giving yourself false hope. Characters are determined early on.
