Your quote actually states he expresses a desire that all new comers get a video. It doesn't say "no more videos = no more newcomers". There is a budget and the budget allocated for videos may have stipulated they were also to be for promotions and since secret unlocks tend to not be part of the promotional material they don't get a video. We already saw in Brawl that Jiggly, Toon Link and Wolf who were not part of SSE didn't get proper videos when you encounter them.

Also "nearing the bottom" is a vague measurement. It could mean we're over half way through the newcomers. So with nine announced having eight left or just one left would both be equally nearing the end.

Too many unknowns to say something is fact.

Not sure I understand what you mean. They are streaming it live for 3 minutes on their own stream the next day instead of streaming it live for 3 minutes on an Evo stream. They are then subsequently releasing the video on YouTube, which they could do either way. The same amount of people could watch it either way. The only difference is they are deliberately not doing it during the fighting game tournament that one of their games is featured at, instead opting to give it its own attention the following day.

Then this soundtrack piece starts playing.

Actually all that other stuff doesn't need to happen. I just want that soundtrack piece to play in his trailer.

Unfortunately for the Agents their series isn't as popular and the characters themselves fall into an odd position seeing as they're the western only versions of the Japan only Ouendan fellas which would be another mess in itself.
I wonder how much support the Ouendan cheer squad get in Japan?

Yeah it's Shulk. It seems to me we are going to get all the newcomers revealed before release which somewhat bothered me for Brawl even though that wasn't exactly the case with that game. For marketing purposes it makes sense.

Then after the game is released the real hidden characters aside from veterans and maybe these 3rd parties will be from DLC.
