That's funny I was on the same page with someone, I just finished catching up on everything I missed with the character reveal news! The title just seemed too perfect to me. Anyway, sweet we are getting a reveal totally seperate from a nintendo direct. I guess according to the leak we could have another reveal next month and one in the beginning of April and then the game releases in Japan
We're not actually being serious. It's all in good fun. It's a 'best possible scenario' situation for some of us, but I don't think any of us are actually expecting it.

I wasn't wholly serious either. What I said was more a guarded confession of awesome I think it would be to see Shulk take down a Metal Gear. I don't have any attachment to Shulk, but Snake feels like my best friend who moved away and may or may not be coming to my wedding.

Oh goodness, is it that time already?
I dunno why but I feel like if Ridley ever gets into Smash, I feel like he might have qualities that no other character has. Like I can see him being a supreme force in the air, maybe him being able to air grab with his talons and take you to the skies for some hellacious air combos and juggles. Also some pretty dope air maneuverability like Firebrand from UMvC3 via his swoops and such

I guess to offset that his ground game wouldn't be great, outside of having a projectile. Think of him being a "reverse Little Mac," great in the air but ground game leaves something to be desired.

It is very difficult to participate in the Monday-reveal specific topic because the people there are not aware of the fact that it's really almost definitely going to be one of three characters. Everyone is just talking about their hopefuls and wants like the hype train is only just boarding in 2011. It's really painting a picture of how different "we" are from "other" Smash fans.

If the reveal is anything besides Shulk/Chrom/Chorus Bros then we know nothing! Haha I'm pretty confident in DLC myself, but I would be surprised if there weren't a couple surprises left.
Seems strange to me that there wouldn't be at least a couple unlockable newcomers that don't get revealed until post-launch. Would love if we get the 3 I mentioned above but still have a few newcomers we don't know about until after the JAP launch

The last time I listened to the Internet was a bad idea.
It'll be a pic of battlefield and if you look in the clouds and turn the image upside down and then invert the colors in photoshop it'll sort of look like Ridley.
And then Shulk will be revealed anyways.
