You know, it'll be really weird if we dont get Meta Knight or some other veteran tomorrow. Especially if they plan on revealing all of the newcomers before release, there's your monthly reveals gone already.

Sure it would! They're running out of time to reveal veterans, unless this is the starting roster as far as veterans go, or they're going to reveal multiple characters per month.

Veterans in Brawl were shown after release.
There is no "normally." Peach was revealed on September 12, followed by Toon Link on September 26 and Sonic on October 1. We could get a veteran revealed every few weeks from here on out as we approach the release date.

I figured we would get around 3 veterans before another newcomer. I too think the Newcomer to Veteran ratio of reveals recently is strange

I highly doubt the final newcomer reveal will be tomorrow. There are still two months to go until the game is released in Japan. Remember that Brawl's final starting newcomer (Olimar) was revealed only a few weeks before release.

As someone said, it's probably just Treehouse employees at EVO. Nothing to get too hyped over, seeing as the reveal isn't until tomorrow.

It's definitely a newcomer. Unless a veteran is either a third party or paired with another newcomer, they don't really deserve their own trailer.
I'm at essentially the same part as you are. Spent time grinding up to level 76 today, mainly using monsters in the Bionis leg area. I found that I could take on and kill level 76/7/8 monsters while being at around 73, and those guys give you like 10k exp each. Shouldn't take that long to hit a good level. I did it for around 3 hours this afternoon and went from 69 to 76

Personally I've disliked all the non-CG trailers so I'm hoping for a CG one.
No no. Im sure it will be Shulk, but we might get a veteran as a bonus in the trailer

If it's Shulk, I can't imagine what art style they would use other than just the standard CG style they used for Greninja and Rosalina.

That'd take focus away from the newcomer, though. Charizard's reveal worked in Greninja's trailer because both characters are Pokémon, and also because Charizard's separation from the Pokémon Trainer mechanic was pretty significant.

I'm more curious as to what sort of poster artwork Shulk's gonna get. All the others have gotten art in their basic style, so I'm guessing something from Xenoblade's artist... but imagining Mario et al in that art style is weiiiiird.
Again, don't get too hyped. It's probably the Treehouse reps with 3DSes featuring Reggie & Sakurai.

That'd be really cool to see. I feel like they'd throw in the more anime-style characters in the artwork. Probably Link, Marth, and Pit. Maybe R.O.B. is he gets confirmed in the trailer.
I would love to play as Kirito. It's like an auto win.

Yeah, it'll probably look similar to Palutena's poster. I wouldn't be surprised if we get an anime opening for him too.

That's more Chrom's area I think. Xenoblade didn't have any anime-styled artwork aside from a couple of stuff in the official artbook.
