...the last Project M patch was for version 3.0. 3.01 and 3.02 were patches to make sure that the alt costumes didn't lag up in FFA environments. Care to explain to me what patches were "fast" or "premature"? What's more, the Fox nerf was on something that most people didn't even know was a thing until they came out and said it (Fox isn't COMPLETELY invincible on start up of a Shine/Reflector). Everything else is Melee Fox.
To be fair to project M, most of their early balance patches were because the game was rapidly evolving, which is fine, since they're a mod and they're trying to get it right. The difference is that they release their updates to the public, unlike an in-development retail game, like Smash 4. It was actually FINE for project M to update and make frequent releases up until '3.0' because they were a mod, etc.
I wasn't saying what project M did was wrong or bad, but just using them as an example for rapid balance changes and that something similar shouldn't happen to a fully released retail game like smash 4.
