In exactly 7 weeks, I'll likely have downloaded Super Smash Bros for 3DS and will be playing it til my hands are cramped forever.

Let that sink in :) Less than two lunar months to go. Japanese 3DSs ftw!

So played Smash 3DS a bit (I actually enjoyed all of what the expo had to offer). Shame the Wii U version was tournament only and you had to win the 3DS version at the right times so my victories didn't count.

Quite funny to know that myself and afoni (he was there) played against Say without him realising it.
 
I like that there is strategic choice with Rosalina and Luna. Have your Luma close for more power and to counter throws or send it away for spacing and combos.

Another thought about Rosalina. Her Recovery is very good, but this can also be a dangerous mind-trap. Many player would properly wait to save them self to use Luma on the stage. But if you don't pay attention to Roslina, you can easily fail to recovery or chose the wrong option and run into the edge-guard of your opponent. it's a dangerous game to play.
 
Little Mac was my best. Perhaps I don't really play in the air much so his strength on the ground benefitted me.

First round did aweful, sorry that DK was me. In brawl I'm a beast, here I touched track about 5 times. Grrr! I won a few practice matches earlier but this match was my worst by far. Look out for me again in the 2nd match.

Yup. I have one more chance to redeem my manhood. I wasn't ready for Spirit Train.

I can play DK, in Brawl anyway in a 1vs1 setting. Here I'm still adjusting to his down air.

Though during time to myself I figured out DK can still do Short hop, back air, reverse punch. As well as Cargo Throw under the stage.
 
I hope Marth's cape animation isn't done cause its seriously bothering me how motionless it looks

You may be right. The track doesn't knock you back, but I think he hit the track, which made him hit the train. Good catch.

Also, is it even called a Meteor Bounce? Haha, I just said that cause I couldn't think of another name.

Ah, cool. Was hoping to see some of the Pro Smash crew pop up in the background or in the tournament.

It's been confirmed in other videos that meteors cause you to bounce, and the higher your percentage, the higher you bounce. Previously it would glue you to the ground.
