I don't recall annoying this thread with another Haruka. Also it did start off as a result of a plausible theory so she is technically more likely than most candidates for the roster.

Playing the demo, it was really obvious they nerfed the distance of some of Olimar's moves, but I'm still excites to play him, regardless!

Daybreak way cooler than dragoon (even though I like the name). It seems to operate similar to the cracker launcher, so cracker launcher may still be in the game. I had initially suspected cracker launcher was removed because it was no fun to control, but I'm definitely wrong, as this controls the same way. I also wonder if you get 1 shot, or multiple shots, or if it's like '5 seconds of shooting, split it up how you wish'.

Anyone think we'll get a reveal for gamescom? Is it big enough for a smash reveal (as far as nintendo cares)? So far, the only 'event' that has had a smash reveal was E3, everything else has been a nintendo direct or stream unrelated to anything else. Will sakurai and team consider gamescom to be important enough for a reveal?

It's possible, but I wouldn't bet on it. Gamescom is Europe's biggest gaming-related event, and a lot like what E3 is to the US, but we all know how much Japanese developers care about Europe. :lol

This update just reminded me that I never once assembled Daybreak, which means that achievement is still locked. Somebody needs to let me win sometime...
I got it TWICE. EVER. And I probably clocked in 20 hours into multiplayer.
No problem. Can somebody provide me a link to the Japanese miiverse? Apparently, their artists produce stuff at a rate that laps the west by miles.

Maybe you should just add all 3 Battletoads with the Dark Queen and also the entire Killer Instinct roster. (High School-me actually did want Fulgore & Orchid with a surprise "Rare's back!" Brawl DLC if that ever happened)

Dragoon sucks, but mostly because it's a cheap one-shot kill. If Daybreak isn't that, it may get to stay on my item list.
I like dragoon because it delays smash balls appearing. It's also fun to knock parts out of other players. I think getting all 3 parts is often worthy of deserving the near-guaranteed kill. If they make aiming harder in this one, then that's good, too.
Edit: I'd never turn dragoon on if i could reduce the frequency of smash balls.
The Dragoon would have been fine if it was rare. But, I found that the stupid thing appeared like 80% of the time, and early on to boot. It was the most common item in the game! And it prevented smash balls from appearing as well.
dragoon is easy to avoid if you're not terrible
also, daybreak is going to be lucario's old final smash but with a better ability to aim it. calling it now
The article seems to imply that they're available in target stores now. Wonder if I should go after work today and see.

Ice Climbers is the only one I'm slightly worried about due to the 3ds version and potentially 4x ice climbers and 3d wrecking the frame rate with tons of items
I'm going to assume Meta Knight and Wario are probably going to be revealed in newcomer trailers the way Captain Falcon was.

If they made IC game , I think that a 3d Kirby style could work for it.
Have classic gameplay with climbing mountains and fighting foes going up but it could also have Kirby like portions in the game , where you go up mountain by path circling around it.They get to show off what they do in smash and some new additions.
Meta knight could totally be the boss of that game.
