They should just make it such that all miiverse posts may only be drawings

Would up the quality, as there's always a huge divide between the average miiverse user and miiverse artists

You know what? I'm calling both Toon Zelda and Pauline as Newcomers. I just saw that picture of the streetpass princesses puzzle in the Peach Month Thread and found it odd they included Pauline and two Zelda. So I'm now fairly aure they will both be newcomers. Just you watch.

I'm actually being serious. Why not include other characters like Palutena or Lucina? Two Zeldas, and a barely relevant character is odd. I see what your doing, Nintendo.

Let's avatar bet on it

Bomberman is only character truly in grave while people talk about Pacman , Megaman and Sonic being there. :(

They could have game or good one at any time but Bomberman is dead.

I still wonder what benefit Hudson stuff was to Konami.

Shirtless Chris please

Dont tempt Boss doggie.... :P

I just checked the past Captain Falcon update and realized that Sakurai made a sly troll comment that he hasn't had a game in a long time. Haha... :/

I don't think I've ever actually properly played a Bomberman game. What are the good ones?
Bomberman '93 on the Wii VC would be an excellent place to start. Bomberman 64 is also fantastic, but more for its epic single-player campaign than its multiplayer (I still love the multiplayer, but the multi-tiered level design is not "classic" style, so to speak). I'm probably most nostalgic for B64. Just listen to the music!

After you try those two, you can start experimenting with quirkier (but totally worthwhile!) fare like Bomberman Hero, which introduced more of a platforming element.

Bomberman is such an awesome series.

Oh lawd, Bomberman music post? Redial from Bomberman Hero is like the distilled chill essence of the mid to late 90s in VGM.

Yeah, the whole Bomberman Hero soundtrack captures the spirit of an era. The era of our childhood. :-)

Really, for the next Smash (or DLC), I want a KONAMI PACK:

Snake, from Metal Gear

Goemon, from Mystical Ninja

Simon, from Castlevania

And since they own it now, BOMBERMAN

and Pyramid Head, why not

I feel like there's a Bomberman/scarf/Zero (the Smash Invitational Winner)/Act Zero joke to be made in this thread, but I can't pull it off.

I'm hoping we know before then because someone breaks street date or there are loose-lipped reviewers

Now then, let's all admire this screenshot again:

I'd actually like to hear more about how that stage works. Also, I'd like to hear about how Ridley is Pyrosphere's boss character.

I will pay One Million Space Bucks* for fan art of Lucina clutching Handsomedorf's waist as he rides Xerneas into battle and Fierce Deity Saria flies at their side

* Space bucks are fictitious currency used in Neiteio Land and do not function as legal tender in the Real World

Lucina and her boots are just roster fluff. The roster will finally come together though once the Chorus Kids are revealed.

Sorry to go all the way back to an earlier conversation, but wasn't Metroid: Other M made non-canon when it was announced? That's the reason it was called Other M, it's an alternate universe story. At least, that's the way it was sold when it was first announced.
