And tomorrow...?

Pokefloats is fun! But if they were to revisit the idea, I'd like to see some element of randomness to the platforms that appear. No other gimmicks, I just don't want the stage to play out the same way every time there's a timed match on it.

But I know that the predictability of the stage is part of the appeal to some.

Me too.

Give me more stages based on locations from the games, please.

What if they set it with one of the cities as a backdrop? Pokefloats Unova set in Nimbasa with the Ferris Wheel and Battle Subway station in the background, for example.

I hope their are fewer stages that scroll, or at least fewer that scroll quickly. Every moving stage except Big Blue is usually bad, and puts the focus more on platforming then fighting. I think most people would agree that the following stages are terrible for fighting-

Mushroomy Kingdom
Rumble Falls
Rainbow Cruise
Poke Floats
Infinite Glacier

Ugh. I hope Mushroomy Kingdom dies and never comes back. I feel it was a perfect representation of the "dryness" that the art style that Brawl had.

On top of being a terrible stage. The Smash Bros. 4 art style is a HUGE breath of fresh air.

what, these are fine!

I enjoy Mushroomy Kingdom, Rainbow Cruise, and Poke Floats

Rumble Falls would have been fine were it not for the stupid instant death spike and the one section with the backwards Z obstacle that you can't jump through where people usually get stuck and killed.

Infinite Glacier I thought was pretty okay as well provided you weren't a character with a horrible vertical jump.

My only real problem with Mushroomy Kingdom is the horrid art direction.

Dried out wasteland = not a clever change, especially in a game that already makes everything as barren and bland looking as possible.

I thought Mushroomy Kingdom was a really neat idea, but it is a terrible stage to play on. Now, if they would've used that stage for SSE...

Now that you mention it, something tells me Mushroomy Kingdom was an SSE level that was cut out and made into a stage.

This is how I feel.

If it was it was normal Super Mario themed, would've been fine. (Although I think we're getting that on the 3DS one.)

Brawl's desire to go realistic didn't resonate with me. #teamcartoonoveralls

I think Mushroomy Kingdom was intentionally barren as to resemble forgotten ruins (since the original SMB was such an old game), but because New Super Mario Bros. came out while Brawl was in development, the original intent of the Mushroomy Kingdom stage was lost. Had Sakurai known about NSMB, he most likely wouldn't have included Mushroomy Kingdom.

Delphino Plaza has NSMB music on it. Remixed in fact, plus models from NSMB used for trophies and stickers. NSMB came out 2 years before Brawl, plenty of time.

I miss fountain of dreams....best melee stage for me :(

I really do think were getting another poke character this week.

Also Pokebank juts released today in NA so theres that. Mewtwo? Jiggs? PokeTrainer tomorrow?
Palutena throwing a pokeball tomorrow confirmed

Damn, was really hoping a Nintendo direct would be announced for tomorrow. Could use another new character but I have a funny feeling we might be waiting until E3. :/
