I think Sakurai is dedicating all his time towards Smash. Especially with his condition the way it is now, I don't think he's going to juggle any more games and he's going to go on a well deserved vacation after this.

Does Samus' silhouette / armor proportions in this remind anyone of Chief's Halo 4-era armor?

Well some significant art staff from Retro Studios worked on Halo 4, so it's very possible they were influenced by Samus when designing the new Mark VI armor

No, it's not.
I wish KI:U had been developed for the Wii to start with though. I don't understand how he thought, when designing that game, that the land sections were a perfect fit for the 3DS. IIRC the whole point of the project was 'make a 3DS game'. After playing S&P2, it just feels like KI:U is an excellent game limited by hardware/controls to just being a great game. Kinda like DKCR. At the same time, I don't really care about remakes because they're just remakes. <.<

Yeah, the staff head is already about as big as her head, and she's pointing it out so that it's closer to the camera (and also at a weird angle) as far as I can tell.

That 4chan rumor's gotta be BS because he said they just sent them character art with no explanation. Like it's supposed to be a guessing game of who's playable.

You know, I kinda sorta get the others, but I don't see why people think ROB will be cut. The idea seems to be based on ROB's apparent reception among fans, ignoring his place in Nintendo's history.
It's kinda like how people expected Other M not to be represented in this game because it wasn't received very well by fans. Look what happened there.

I see no reason to remove Lucas. He's "cheap" to add, with his voice work being done and being able to heavily borrow from Ness (who's obviously in)
Stating where the leaker works pretty much confirms it as fake, but if it were real I think having arts asset for only "Wonder Red" would most likely indicate Playable character rather than Asssist, since I don't see why they wouldn't just put all 7 as assist as opposed to only Wonder Red.

I think Lucario is totally safe too. Dude is still being pimped hard in X/Y and he he was in the teaser for Pokken Fighters.

Lucario's probably my least favorite Smash character though. He just feels like some random Pokemon, same as Puff or Pichu. Unlike Puff though, he hasn't been in the series since the first game. If for some strange reason they had to cut exactly one character, he would be my pick.

Yeah, I remember a bunch of people being damn sure that Mr. G&W wasn't going to return for Brawl because he was a stupid gimmick character that no one liked, and yet he made the cut, so it seems likely that ROB will make it in to SSB4.

There was a Palutena "leak" yesterday which is probably the most convincing leak so far besides the old WFT one. People think Sakurai is acknowledging it somehow with the Viridi pic.
The Palutena "leak." Some people think it's a bit fishy that after we got some moderately convincing images of her in the 3DS version that he'd show a picture of Viridi on it.
But chances are it's just a grand coincidence.

Mr. Game & Watch really is a great character. I do hope he returns.
Though, he's not as fun as I want him to be. He has a lot going for him, like extreme power in some attacks, great recovery, decent speed and surprising disjointed range, but it's pretty stressful playing him for some odd reason (even though I do consider myself a semi-decent Game & Watch player).
I've been playing most of the entire roster in Brawl lately as I have nothing better to do, so I've really got to know which characters suit me more and which characters I don't click with (no matter how much I want them to). I consider Marth, Ike, Ness, Wolf and Kirby the most fun to play.
