Anyway... onto a different topic. What do you people think are shoe-in veteran returns have not been revealed yet?
I would say Diddy Kong, Captain Falcon, and Ganondorf.
I'm just sticking this in to make my post less awkward but I think it did the opposite.

Since it appears a good chunk of the veteran characters appear relatively unchanged from Brawl, I'd like to ask you all this, which characters do you hope Sakurai alters prior to release? For me Sonic was unique and am aware he was designed to be unpredictable but I'm hoping they change his side special at least (I'm not too bothered if they don't).
 
For this new Smash Bros I want a good arrangement of Shin Onigashima's "Pastoral" this time.

My favourite variation of that theme is from "Game Music Graffiti". Which was a Nintendo album from 1990. Bloody hell.

Are we talking movesets or also stuff like cosmetics and animations?
 
As far as Sonic music is concerned, Dragon Dance (Sky Road Zone 2), the Zone 2 Deadly Six theme, the underwater rail level theme, & the Final Boss theme is songs I want in the game game.....plus a remix for Windy Hill....& a few more from Lost World.

As polarizing as Lost World was to the community, I did enjoy it. It had its flaws, but still (3rd favorite 3D Sonic game, behind Generations & Colors). They have something good going, it just needs refinement like the Boost games got after Unleashed.

We still haven't seen the full movesets of Olimar and Luigi, so I still have hope for the Poltergust and the new Pikmin to be added.

As for not yet announced characters:

  • I hope Ganondorf gets moves pertaining his games.
  • As for Lucas, Falco and Wolf, I hope they get more unique moves, so they aren't somewhat-similar-to-other-characters-but-some-people-think-it's-not-true-so-I-word-it-this-way-to-not-offend-them anymore.
  • Since Yoshi hasn't been revealed, even though he was one of the original starters, I think we may get some changes. Possibly Baby Mario riding him?
  • If Mewtwo returns, I see some changes in his moveset as well.

Also some Final Smashes, like Jigglypuff, DK, the three friggin' Landmasters, etc.

I just want Marth's down air to be buffed! I don't need melee levels of good but at least make it usable
 
They should pay tribute to the box art of the first game and call it Super Smash Bros Biff Boom Boom Bang Bom
