I wonder if only solid projectiles could be destroyed. It's kinda lame that energy shots and aura blasts can be nullified by punches.

I also think the screens are fake, but I wouldn't use that as proof. The game is still in development, and it's definitely possible that the HUD has changed since E3.

That was something that could have been really really cool as it was a new thing to look forward to, like something to add that would have been worthwile.
And Sakurai has "confirmed" they will be no costumes because something stupid about characters loosing charm or some shitty excuse like that.
Every time Sakurai opens his mouth, I feel both games are more barebones than ever.
As someone who one of the favourite sagas is Super Smash (the 3 of them) I have right now 0 hype for this game, thats why I don't write much in this thread.
How many times are people going to say this? He said no such thing. He was talking about custom costumes, Tekken style.

My sister is nowhere to be found sadly. And not the, "I made her go away" kind of nowhere. I literally cannot find her.
I know this isnt happenning but it would be cool if if the game let you have custom music with out modding. So later once I played a bajillion hours of it, I could change the theme and feeling of the game. Music has a wonderful like that, I would make a late 90's early 2000's fighting game soundtrack with house music and jazz on it. Shit would be so hype.

I just realized that we've only heard 3 characters with voices so far....
First was Wii Fit Trainer in her reveal trailer.
Second we hear Mario grunting and such in the beginning of Sonic trailer. ( I think this was the first time )
Third and last is Sonic also grunting and attacking.
Which brought me this question....will they give Megaman a voice? He is known to talk, but he seems charming enough with just the classic 8bit sounds, maybe the Robotic emotionless face confirms that? What do you guys think?

Oh GOODDDDD, that looks so good. This Sonic has much more of a classic vibe.
I' dont really see it, it seems like more of the stage if anything, but ok.
Speaking of classics, does anyone ever think they will feature the really old elfish/peter panish link. Like the one being used for the 3ds game.

So I watched the little footage again to see what was interesting.
Simple one, but nice to see it done quickly.
Another simple one. The thing to note here is the blue streaks coming from Mario and Mega Man when knocked up by Sonic's up-air. That's new right?
And these caught my eye.
Mario slides very far here. Also, the colors change because I was trying to correct it since the first few frames are a bit dark due to it being the start of the trailer and being faded into. I don't recall it being that far in Brawl.
Now Sonic slides REALLY far. I don't recall it being that far from Brawl either, so I may be misremembering this.
Yeah It's interesting to see the GIF, but I felt that GIF is faster than trailer from what I see. I have to check trailer again tho.

It's good to see the 3DS version. Feels like forever since we've gotten a 3DS picture.
I really hope most of these stages don't have dumb annoying gimmicks to them because they're all really gorgeous except Skyloft.

To be honest seeing media for the 3DS version is more interesting to me than the Wii U version. It's just gorgeous. It's nice to see models that good for Nintendo characters in a real game.Todays picture

I always liked how Brawl mixed the modern design with classic sensibilities when regarding Sonic. Good to see that they're continuing that trend for this game.

Mostly why I say that is his animation is really precise, and his spines aren't flopping around. Floppy spikes are a very modern detail.
And of course, sidemouth.

There, not only was there a green 3DS (again, not an XL), but it came free with Mario & Luigi 5, which featured Mario & Luigi pairing up with Wario & Waluigi. My dream self snatched that up as fast as I possibly could.
I really want a green 3DS.

Does Zero Suit Samus really count as a separate representative from Samus? I always considered them two facets to the same character, like Zelda/Sheik.
