I wonder when the DLC is going to come out. It's been almost three months since the KR release and over two since the NA release.

It's still on SCEA submission process, we'll announce the dates soon =)
 
Oh wow, $4? I was kind of expecting a bit more, like $5 or $6. I'll have to see if I can sample some online.
 
Will buy the DLC whenever I get enough money for it...and being in the mood to bother with my country's PSN bullshit...and maybe when the red slider notes stop tripping me up.
 
Apologies if this has already been asked/answered. Does difficulty affect judgement leniency? I whacked it up to hard as soon as I got a DJ Icon with a shield, but World Tour is absolutely murdering me.

IIRC, in some of the DJ Max games (Black Square/Clazziquai?) putting it on easy made the timing window for 100% bigger.

I'm pretty sure that whenever you were doing a judgement based mission in Trilogy you had your overall judgement behind the highway for the duration. Could really have done with that in this game too...

Difficulty only affects life drain/recovery and score.
 
Been getting back into this over the past few days, and I have to say I'm enjoying it a lot more than I was around Christmas for some reason. Taking a step back and focusing on the 6trax stuff for now, nothing too difficult. I'm leaving 6traxFX for when I get a grip for my slim because when I tried slipping my system into my OG Vita grip and holy hell did it become easier to reach all the buttons. Without it I'm contorting my hand in a way that I can't last a few songs before the pain sets in.

I finally All Combo'd one of the...mid range? 6trax songs.

As far as I'm concerned I've overcome a personal demon. A few days ago I was staring at my insta-murder thinking "man, I am never getting coordinated enough to do well on this". Feels good getting better. The faster and more complicated stuff still gets me, and I can feel my brain shutting off when same side stick/face button sections come into play but hey, I felt the same way about the songs I'm doing alright on now a few days ago.

And there's new DLC coming? Neat. I'm guessing it'll be aimed at 'post-game' like the P4D DLC was though, so I may have to skip for...quite a while.
 
Damn totally forgot about this. 6AUD for each pack, so just as expected. Still I just ordered SoSC LE so I'll hold off for now.

Nice timing that this popped up on the front page... I just started this back up last night and am really having a good time with it! Just working my way through the 4s. I feel like I'm playing Light 7 in IIDX, but that's OK. LOL

The Magical Blaze collection is way too easy and the video in the background for each of the songs is clearly just a promotional video for the game that Arc Sys gave the developer. Just feels lazy compared to the other two packs.

The other two packs are great, though.

So we just submit the score to the online leaderboard to partake in the contest?

Been a while since I played this, but I guess I'll give it a shot. It's fine if we do it in Free Style, right, or do we have to play the song via 6 Trax's arcade mode?\
 
If I had a previously best score, is it possible to upload that to the ranking & have that count? I noticed on one attempt, I had 159,200 as my score. So is there a way to have that be uploaded as my score, or do I have to do another attempt?

Or did it already upload it to the Ranking Data? & wow, I'm in the top 30 for World Tour & 6Trax FX? I didn't think I was THAT good.
 
Wow, talk about a steep difficulty curve... but I'm getting there, heh. Feels like a nice evolution to DJ MAX.

Also, I like the visualizations more than I expected to, they tend to go well with a given song.

H.O.W.ling is basically Heart of Witch 2, love seeing all the DJ MAX vets.

Favorite track is probably Swedish Girl.

enjoying Persona 4 Dancing All Night right now - 60% hard cleared - and plan on buying this game. Some questions come to mind:

- Difficulty compared to P4D?
- Will there be more DLC-Packs/support for this game over the coming months?
- Is it wise to purchase DJ Max Fever (EU-Name) and play it on vita? Thinking of input-lag because native system is PSP ...
- How do you play these games?: touch-control, buttons, mixed, seperate controller?
