Actually, it was quite nice. I was a production assistant for a couple of days, because I was crashing at a friend's pad in Hollywood, who was also a production assistant on the show (for all the contestant stuff), and was somehow recruited. But, it was quite nice with decent pay and the producers, for the most part, were very cool.
I worked on the set for reshoots in post. Basically, I was there when Brian McFayden intros and ends the show underneath the Hollywood sign. It was pretty cool to see how they shot it actually. And Brian is actually a super cool guy and the shit he says offcamera is fucking hilarious. Once he found out I had no aspirations to work in the industry whatsoever, he chatted with me for a bit and was easy to deal with.
I think the funniest bit was while we were shooting that day, a bunch of Japanese tourists were coming up the hills to view the Hollywood sign and saw us shooting. Then they saw Brian and wanted autographs. Brian goes over to the Japanese mob and they are all like, "SEACREST-SAN!"
