Kiefer Sutherland has fired his own daughter after she failed to keep quiet on the set of 24 according to the Daily Mail.

Sixteen-year-old Sarah Sutherland was working as a production assistant on the TV drama series until Kiefer lost his temper and showed no preferential treatment.

Kiefer explains: "One of the only things that I am very specific about on our show is that it has to be absolutely quiet.

"Halfway through a take I hear: 'Rolling!'

"I went: 'Who the f**k... That was my daughter, right?'"

But he did go on to reveal that he didn't just turf the teenager out on her ear: "We got her a different job," he said.
