The Steam Deck hurts my hands just as much as the OG Switch despite being bigger due to the vertical grip and the placement of the buttons.Steamdeck has better anatomy for the hands.

Intersting... they don't make a satisfye grip for the steam deck?I think the form factor of the Switch looks great

My Switch 2 will be 100x more comfortable then my Steam Deck OLED (which I regret buying honestly) because I will buy a Satisfye grip for it.
They do make a grip for the Steam Deck but it's a completely different design and is more like eh Dbrand grip.Intersting... they don't make a satisfye grip for the steam deck?

Amazing how something with a bigger/better screen and just as, if not MORE, powerful is in a much sleeker and smaller design/form factor.
Nintendo engineers have truly outdone themselves with Switch 2.
Joke --------------->you.Nvidia crushes AMD in the RT territory.
I do love that the SD isn't built for baby hands where you have to buy yet another accessory to make it more comfortable. Maybe one day Nintendo will get there on ergonomics.

One of the few things I liked about the rog ally over SD was the smaller form factor (not drastically smaller mind you, I'm fairly sure the width is closer to the switch 2 than the oled)Steam Deck is fucking huge and bulky.

?It's clear why you cannot mention 'battery life' even when you know these are mobile gaming devices. There are sacrifices made to keep a device slim. I'd have been happier if the Switch 2 was a bit thicker to incorporate a bigger battery.
The Deck also incorporates dual trackpads that add to the bulk.
That said, it's really really sleek and pro looking, and I can't wait to get mine.

I love the form factor on the Steam Deck. Perfect in my hands. I can't go back to regular Switch anymore, but thankfully the new one is a bit larger, and should be a bit less terrible to hold. Will probably keep it docked 99% of the time though.
While many fans around the world have welcomed the larger screen and controllers for Nintendo Switch 2, reactions seem mixed in Japan.
Some Japanese users commented on the Switch 2's size, saying that it's "too big", comparing the size of the console to a magazine. A few also quipped that parents may not want their children walking around holding such a "big and expensive" device and its form factor might make it difficult to play during their commute on the train.
There were also some hoping that something smaller, like a Nintendo Switch 2 Lite, could be released to mitigate this issue.
