It will be the most hyped console launch ever assuming they don't mess it up. MK9 as a launch game is going to be a fucking event.

They have to fuck it up massively for me to not buy at least two of them at launch. That's pretty hype.

Pfff I don't know what to say, I feel like it's gonna be very disappointing as Nintendo has seen that they can dominate with low effort.

Nintendo fans... ...too much hype.
Normal fans... ...medium hype.
Nintendo... ...Sale explode.
Haters... ...crud

Me? Wait and see. ...no hype?

So, i am cautiously hyped. If it is less powerful than people want, but it can still run things like Red Dead 2, Halo, Madden, Mass Effect, Metaphor, Gotham Knights, Metal Gear Delta, RE4make, COD, etc. Nintendo consumers will be just fine!

Nintendo PR clearly gave Nate The Hate, Kit & Krysta, IGN and others a heads up, so they would get the word out.
Nintendo has lost control of the messaging and needed to get it back.

Don't think for a second this is not Nintendo's doing. Bloomberg and WSJ are not running Nate The Hate as a source. Lol.

This week will be interesting. I am sure we see at least one game, even if it is just MP4. Maybe Halo and stuff before the MS event, next week.

Nintendo must regain control of the situation, lets see if than can achieve this!

Fanboys will love it more than bread, haters gonna hate it more than Concord. With supply I'm pretty sure it will break sales records. Myself, medium to above average optimistic.

when the evidence came out that it was 8nm i really did get inflated. heres hoping the results arent as bad as the chip process seems to be

I like most Nintendo games but I'm mostly excited for what Monolith Soft going to release on Switch 2.

Why do you write on a forum like you're writing a click bait article?

Ok

Zero hype, a few days ago I was bouncing off the walls with happiness but the Sony fans concerted and relentless campaign against it on here has worked and now I'm so anti Nintendo I'm throwing my Switch out the window.

I am not hyped, but I might purchase one post-launch if CFW comes out and there is a capable emulator so I can play on PC. 99% of what I want to play is already available on PC, so I have lost more and more interest with Nintendo trying to force me into their hardware.

I'm always late as hell on the last few Nintendo consoles. I just got a Switch last year and rarely touch it after binging the Mario games I had missed.

I am curious about Prime 4 of course.

Verdict: zero hype for me admittedly.

Medium hype. Too much has been leaked.
Only stuff that's been leaked are things we pretty much already knew like the form factor and general hardware info. No games or hardware/software specifics have been leaked so hype is still high for me at least.

>nintendo thread
>whining over sony bros for no reason early on
Many such cases.

I mean....those are things we could guess, but we really didn't know anything. It's fine though. If they wow me with the launch games and performance then I'll still be excited.

I'm just trying to get the point across. Regardless of power, let's see the games first. Before we cast judgements.

As I said, Nintendo has lost control of the narrative, so let's see if they can regain it. It is truly interesting. Will the leaks stop once revealed, or will the flood gates open?

Not hyped for the hardware, ready to be disappointed as usual

Hyped to see the games, it's been way too long since they released an ambitious game. Though the rumored launch lineup of only MK9, if true, would be pretty awful

Needs to launch with Mario or Metroid

I don't know what "sales explode" means, but it's going to sell out I'm sure.

But so did the WiiU, so..

I'm hyped though! Been wanting an upgrade for over 2 years at this point.

I think it will be exactly what everyone expects and it will be sold out for it's first year on the market

If MK9 really is a launch title then it will be sold out it's first 2 years

I'm just excited for the potential of 60fps+

Can't wait to replay Tears of the Kingdom

And I'm itching to finally dive into some of the Vanillaware titles. The FOMO is real.
