so its actually the same with me, cause except from that it should be shipped, hermes did nothing ^^

I also chatted with amazon.fr and they said..they priorise orders from france, belgium, thats why they dont send out german switches day 1..

Hope you get your system on time. I've had quite the positive experience with Hermes... They are always on time and the drivers are cool, can't say the same for all the DHL couriers. Well....

Didn't think of it... But I might try that. I'll just say that the email said I could pick it up today so that they at least look for the package lol.

Yes, except for the Wii, Nintendo consoles are pretty much non-existant here. It's Sonyland.

Perhaps they thought this would be a Wii-like situation and got more than they should.

I arrived at Saturn 30 minutes ago. The Lady at the counter told me that I probably get the Abholbestätigung within the next 2 hours and that she is making sure no one else is getting my console lol
 
Saturn has been holding my Switch hostage for 3 hours now, still no Abholschein. Thank god I haven't taken the day off, else I'd be rioting by now.

Have fun, lucky ones that can play already.

what the hell is going on @saturn
quite a lot of people are waiting for the pick up confirmation (Facebook/twitter). And since 3h they are not answering any questions.
 
Got my switch + Zelda from my fnac :D
Funny thing is I got Zelda for free !

I went to pick up just my switch and the lady forgot to give me back my loyalty card, when I went to pay just Zelda it was 64 instead of 51 because I didn't have my loyalty card on me. At the moment I thought it was deep in my pockets or something and thought the price for Zelda in store was 64.
So I went back to pick up my loyalty card and get a refund for the difference.
Except that the vendor gave me a full refund instead of just the difference...

I don't know if that was clear but nvm #FreeZelda !
 
I have my switch, but to be safe I ordered at saturn. I won't pick it up, but after I received confirmation that it is on the way, I did not receive confirmation to pick it up.

I went there to buy an amiibo and the zelda guid. They had like almost nothing in stock.
 
My GameStop told me yesterday I wouldn't receive my Switch with the first shipment, they had pretty long pre-order list, at least 2 pages.

But I'm getting Zelda today from Otto.de with Hermes, yay
 
DHL is dissapointing me.
Says it's supposed to be delievered between 11am and 2:30pm. 20 minutes left and still no DHL truck in sight.

Waiting for a new Nintendo console surely might be the most masochistic thing I can do to myself.
 
Both Amazon and CDiscount let me down! o/ The Switch just shipped and the Zelda collector is supposed to arrive on Monday. Well done, team!
 
Just talked to Amazon chat over that pricing mistake and the network died -.- I guess I'll try calling tomorrow. Anyone got the 180€ price yet?
 
I looked around at a bunch of stores and none of them had the Switch case for sale. Should have ordered one. :(
Anyway, my Switch arrived, but I'm pretty tired and only had time to play the Snipperclips demo so far.
 
Went to Gamestop to sell Horizon and pickup Zelda Wii U.

Saw they had a neon switch left and picked it up

I'm used to do the other way around: buy from Germany and never had problems with warranties, it must be EU laws. But this is a national supplier, they don't send products outside of Portugal, sorry.
 
Quick info for those of you who now have multiplae units (or are still waiting for cheaper units from somewhere else but caved in and bought a German one today) - the serial number is NOT on the outside box but on an extra cardboard thingie INSIDE the box (and on the switch console, of course)

This means that you could (theoretically) switch out the cardboard thingie inside the box and send the newly received (cheaper) version back to Amazon.de (or wherever you bought today's version from) and should have no trouble getting back your full money (because it's an untouched, mint unit).

This way you can also keep your saves which are, as we all know by now, not yet transferable!
 
And by the way: there seems to be a gigantic problem with Saturn customers not receiving their Abholschein even though they already have the console ready in store.

You should just call or pay them a visit.
 
Btw, when i went to my local mediamarkt they had like 20 unclaimed Switch consoles left, all of them grey.

But they had no Zelda and only like ... 4 copies of 1-2-switch and Just Dance. :/

Also, no carrying cases - only a super cheap "BigBen" starter kit. I guess i'll just order one from Amazon.
 
Just picked it up from Saturn, got the mail five hours after it had been delivered to the store.

Saw many people buying Switches and games, but they still had a couple of units available (Rostock).

Still 3 hours of work, though :(
 
So I just got an email from Amazon after I asked about a gesture towards the price error. I got a refund of 150€.


Well. There it is.
