Switch up on Amazon.de - 329,99€

My order on .fr from the 23rd shows delivery March 7-8... Maybe because I'm using free shipping? Do you guys who have it March 3 have Prime or paid extra for shipping?

Yes free shipping usually takes a bit more time and there is the weekend to take into account, March 3 being a friday iirc.

You'd have to pay extra or have prime to get it on the 3rd

Amazon.fr has dropped the price on 299. I think that every amazon division in europe will follow.

They definitely should, but I don't think so. :/ However, I am tempted to go with Amazon.fr even though they don't deliver the Zelda bundle to Germany. If they offer some nice discounts, I might take the hit of not being able to play at launchday. My March 3rd order is still valid, hm.

I have Zelda bundle preordered. To Germany.

People in this thread have said it works even though it initially says they don't ship to germany.
At worst just buy zelda in germany, there won't be shortages of those.

Wait, this is getting weird now. I just ordered the same Zelda bundle again, just to see if there was some kind of warning I missed. I didn't. I could order it just fine to ship to Germany.

However, it is 10€ cheaper now.

For whatever reason the Switch is now 285€. This is what the first bundle I ordered looks.

It now is cheaper than what the page says? The bundle should be 360€, but it's 353€ including shipping it to Germany.

EDIT: Yep, it's 350€ now. https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B01MZAF5BB/

Bundle price just dropped to 349€

Also keep in mind that even though this is a bundle they might ship those separately, and for whatever reason on the delivery side one can arrive later than the other

I've settled for the Switch on Amazon.fr at 312€ with shipping and Zelda at 30€ by giving back a copy of Sonic Lost World at Mediaworld Italy

Also ordered from the Zelda bundle but my price is higher than the one now out. I just tried and it's 355,82 while my order is stuck at 361.
That's mostly because the Switch is still at 303 but it's at 299 in reality right now.
Is it just because it takes time to update?

I've ordered only the Switch and on my order page it says 304 instead of the 299 that you can see on the store

should be 299

With 312€ I meant including shipping costs

At this point I'm not confident that Amazon.fr will have enough stock for all orders at launch, especially since they don't seem to have a limit on how many you can order per customer.

They do, it's specified on the Switch page.
Edit: even one the bundle for the console. One per customer and per adress

I'm pretty happy my order at Amazon.fr stands, it's getting better all the time. But I have no idea on how to approach the situation. I have a Switch and Zelda on launch day from Amazon Germany, will I just wait and then sell the French Switch for the German price? Or will I wait for the French Switch before I start gaming?

Maybe it'll support a smart save solution from the start and I can just send back my German Switch and Zelda...

Just chatted with an Amazon.es rep and was told they can't price match Amazon.fr :(

EDIT: Didn't screencap, but:

Bien, en este caso te comento que, en este caso, ya que el precio ha cambiado en la web de Amazon.fr y que el pack que estas viendo pertenece a ellos, deberías de contactar con ellos para ver si la rebaja aplicará a tu producto
Ya que nosotros no podemos igualar precios

Just drop the price again like you did last week!

I'm not sure what to do. I wanted 299 and got it but I don't really want to play zelda and there is nothing until Arms or Splatoon show up ;(

By that time it'll be even cheaper. Oh well.

Edit: Puyo Puyo though

My zelda bundle preorder on amazon.fr is stuck at EUR 363,38 (including EUR 5,38 shipping to Germany) as well. Should we wait if they update the price or just cancel and place a new preorder?

Tried to order a second one and indeed got a message that you can only order one per person and adress.

I don't think the price updates for the bundle once you've ordered. At least it hasn't so far from what I've seen. Maybe I'm wrong but I think people usually just cancel and re-order.

At some point this will probably screw you over for day one because of stock but right now it still works.
Maybe the best option would be to order the console separately to take advantage of possible future price drops and buy the game in your country at the best price closer to release? Or keep watching and managing your bundle order, your choice.

BotW is 56,38 € in amazon.uk (48£). 3,65 € for post (3,11£) to Finland and I'd think it's the same or cheaper to Germany or France. Is it cheaper than what you could get in Germany or France?

Yes my single console order price dropped when the price changed, but with my bundle order the price didn't drop. I believe there are actually two bundles, the order behaved differently in my cart with this new one.

For the Fnac the rep told me that the price don't update, it will update to match the lowest price online right before shipping. I guess that's the same system for amazon.

It's not too bad ! For french residents Auchan is selling at 54,99€ without shipping cost if you go take it at the store.
Cdiscount is selling Zelda for 51,99€ with free shipping cost to France also

Edit ;
Yeah that would make sense. At least I hope they'll do that

Yes that's pretty scary but I guess it will be okay

I wouldn't trust what a customer service rep says about this, and I definitely wouldn't take what the Fnac one says and assume it applies to Amazon.

I cancelled my bundle and reordered.

But you do you :P

Gamestop Norway announced the other day that the grey Switch pre-order was sold out on the 18th. The blue and red one was still available then, but I guess soon gone.

I guess that's just how the lowest price guarantee works. And if they try to charge me with full price I'll just return the product and make a fucking mess at the store's consumer service x)

Anyway I will surely cancel my preorder and trade-in my New 3DS in Micromania to get a switch at 219€ and Zelda on CDiscount for a total of 272€

Get Amazon.de order on launchday and keep it.
Send Amazon.fr order back to Amazon.de once you receive it and get the full refund of the higher price.

This is exactly how I did it with my WiiU preorder back in the day.
It was a similiar situation were Amazon.fr was much cheaper then Amazon.de.

This is exactly how I did it with my WiiU+NSMBU preorder back in the day.
It also didn't matter that NSMBU was the french version I sent to Amazon.de.
It had a similiar situation were Amazon.fr was mich cheaper then Amazon.de.
smart

Damn, I could had ordered from France instead of Germany.
You still can.

There's no way they can track that? Because I've thought of this approach as well :)

Well it seems that for those who used the free month of trial for the Fnac+ card to get the 30€ discount, you will still have the discount even if you cancelled the card subscription.

"It's the membership status at the time of the order which is taken in consideration"

Damn, now I regret cancelling my order :P

I don't know what came over me today but I went into panic mode when I saw that I couldn't find the way to cancel my order.

The bundle on amazon.fr says now "Ce vendeur ne peut pas expédier l’article sélectionné en Allemagne (continentale)", which means, if my French is not too rusty, that they don't ship to Germany :(

I wish amazon.de would price match but I highly doubt it

You can still order to Germany.
Just try it.

People here said that the SWITCH30 deal is gone... but it's not really.

Fnac currently has 10 Euro off for every 100 you spend if you're a member. So if you get the Switch and Zelda, you get both for 350 and you get 30 credit (when they ship I think), and Putosaure above said that Fnac said on Twitter that you still get the credit even if your membership trial expires.

So I just replaced an order for Neon Switch + Zelda and got confirmation that I'll be getting 30 Euro. So it's the same price as Amazon and you get 30 cashback. Also on Fnac you have the option to choose Neon for the bundle if you want, unlike Amazon.

I did enter the SWITCH30 code at checkout, but I'm not sure it did anything. It showed me the 30 credit offer before I entered it anyway.

Not the moment they send, maybe a day or two before max. Once it starts preparing to ship.

Yeah, so they'll charge not right now, cool. :) So if I pre-order from Amazon.fr and keep my Amazon.de order for now, nothing bad will happen, right?

Edit: oh, they just accept credit cards there, not my bank account. Maybe I'll find a solution, because 350€ sounds better than 400€ for the device + Zelda.
