It looks like they tested it in a few markets in December. Just saw an official post on Facebook, "A twist on a classic. Say hello to the new Double Chalupa."

Moar info to come.

Article from December.

When you say 'introducing' does that mean Taco Bell throws a cocktail party in it's loft in Williamsburg allowing customers to come and make small talk with the Double Chalupa?

PICS?!!??!?!?!?!?

We just got our first Tim Horton's so sadly I won't be able to share in this Taco Bell feast for many years yet.

I'm in though.

OP gettin that TB money from the looks of these responses.

Chalupas are the only thing I eat at taco bell if i eat at taco bell. I would not eat this, it's all about the fried shell.

Is it here? Is it now? If I go to Taco Bell, will it be there waiting to greet me with its chalupa shell smile? The chalupa has been tossed in the corner since they removed the Baja version.

New name, but I know an XL Chalupa when I see one.

I know these are dark days we're living, but silver linings, bros. Silver linings...
