Plus he's got a little fame and gets the exercise. I see nothing wrong with this, unless he actually attempts to ride the bike. I assume he just pushes it.
I think it's good exercise and better than him just wasting away at home, but I also think it just doesn't look very safe. He can barely see where he's going and he's paying attention to the phones most of the time, on top of being older and having slower reaction time.
