Looks cool, but were those consoles ever really rivals? Surely the Saturn.

Yeah, that is weird. Then again, the Saturn is a pretty ugly box and might make for a boring transformation.

These would be better if they were original characters to play to the console design strengths, but then I guess they would sell less.

I remember now that Megatron's fusion cannon is a USB stick so maybe that's why it costs so much.

Too bad they didn't go with Super Fami-Convoy instead of the Playstation.

Yeah, The Megatron Mega Drive is cool, but I feel like they missed out on the opportunity with the Optimus Prime being a Playstation and not a Famicom, what with the general boxy-ness of its design and the red and white color scheme being more complimentary to Prime's color scheme.
