Great Stuff.

Takeaway
  • Not to be opened by the normal users
  • Replacement Parts will be made available with time
  • Valve will list compatible swappable SSDs
  • But apart from all that, you CAN do it if you know your way around
  • IMPORTANT: MODEL NOT FINAL
I thought this would have been posted here by now but I couldn't find such a thread so I posted this.

Goddammit can a mod fix the title pls

I've never seen such a badly designed device, I don't understand why the fuck Valve won't get it and hire designers.

Yes just hire some, we'll talk about them being competent after, because they clearly don't have any, none of my friend working in an industrial design would be capable of designing something so ugly and non-sensical from an ergonomic POV even if they tried.

You haven't held it. It's no uglier than a Switch. It's a prebuilt PC that isn't covered in RGB bullshit. Improvements will come if the market for it takes off.

It could look like my hairy bollocks but as long as it plays my Steam library and emulates the things I chuck on it then it's good to me :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I don't need too and don't want too, it's horrendous as in, it's not just badly designed, it's not designed at all. I'm not commenting or criticising the capabilities in itself which are interesting, especially if the connection to an external screen works well, keyboard, controller can work well.

1. These warnings would be nice, if we could actually get our hands on one
2. I never noticed the thread title error. I read it as Steam
